Lest we forget the incident from about a year and a half ago when the Wikipedia moderators discovered that the elaborately detailed, illustrated, and extensively curated article about Desmond “is Amazing” Napoles was put together by a convicted pedophile who had previously been banned from contributing to the website. The whole article was taken down and a few days later replaced with a tiny neutral stub.
