Man, I feel the artist did a great job on the suit despite it looking uncanny. However, I can see suits like these maybe being used for low-budget plays or movies (bonus points if the suit has moving parts like eyes or jaw). The fact that these are strictly fursuits being used at cons and to invade public spaces feels like a waste of talent since all you do is show off the suit, take pictures and romp with 10 other people in a smelly hotel room.
Damn Chinese haven't quite mastered the art of fursuit making, what the above fursuit is supposed to look like.
i genuinely love these stolen fursona copy fursuits. everyone knows no furry is buying this, so i like to imagine some poor sap principal looking up "cheap husky mascot costume" into google for his school book fair and then buying a mockup costume of someones oc that you can probably google and find them taking it up the ass while morbidly obese
There's a story behind this suit I've heard in passing - The person in it apparently physically unwell somehow, and isn't a fan of how rough and overly touch/cuddly other people in suit can act when playing their characters. So they intentionally made an old granny who looks frail to encourage people to not be so rough, which apparently works quite well. In a weird way, it's genius. Some people get so horribly in-character they forget that normal boundaries exist.

You think so? Both types always looked fine to me, provided the suits were well-crafted and aesthetically tolerable (just as important - well brushed/groomed and clean). Sometimes the digitigrade suits can get so extreme and exaggerated, where the femurs/tibias just look broken. Or they're so disproportionately thick the character looks like they have severe edema.
LARPing as a disabled elderly furry to escape the reality of being a disabled elderly person.
