Let me tell you what's "messy moderation": we have a song titled "I wish you die" and members of our Ministry of Health were filmed, during a event promoting the vaccines, dancing and singing that song, which many people thought it was in terrible taste (it is). So, many asked questions: "why are members of the gov, during a health rally, singing "I wish you die"? and they got insta banned for incitement to self-harm.

That is "messy moderation" and not at all what they did.

What they did was censor a story that it wasn't convenient for their political views and despite new information was coming, despite they knew well that they had no real reason to censor the story, they kept doing it out of cowardly and spite.
