Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I doubt zoomers and other younger followers of Chris realise how often fag, faggot and gay was used back then by school kids, calling things gay or retarded was interchangeable with dumb or stupid back then, even in PG movies like Bill and Ted it has the word fag in it.
I read Invincible recently (originally published 2003-2018 ) and there's a few times when a character calls something gay like that, it's kind of jarring nowadays. I highly recommend the series, the animated show is excellent too.
When my stepdad was a kid in the 1960s he played a game at school called Smear the Queer.

There is almost guaranteed someone smarter who you can just ask a question online and get an answer from in just about any community.
The internet really can provide a hivemind-esque connection, where what one knows is what the collective knows. Disconnected from that hivemind however, and they revert to ignorance. It's like a lame version of the tyranids, except somehow scarier.
He is one of a kind, never to truly be replicated to such an extent. A real life Truman Show.
This might be unethical, but I think for the greater good of documenting the human condition Chris must continue on as Truman.
It's not really unethical to wish Chris stays online, he'll do it himself because "muh fans". After the fall of the Miscreants, Chris lost the people manipulating him into making content, and yet Christory didn't end. He's gained too much momentum to stop on his own, so unless the home or his conservator stops him, he'll keep going presumably till he dies.

Very odd for me because "faggot" was synonymous with annoying where I was from.
The reference to homosexuality was almost not existent unless you draw a parallel to flamboyant behavior. Which most men do find annoying. I remember this years before South Park did the Motorcycle==Fag joke.
I can't remember the last time anyone has actually said queer, gay, faggot in public and referencing a homosexual and this is the deep south we are talking about here.

they revert to ignorance.
I mean i'm guilty of it, i would be hard pressed to find anyone here not guilty of it.
20+ years of electronic musical instrument experience and sometimes my brain just goes dead and I can't for the life of me remember how to setup a very simple situation on my arranger. I can only imagine people who are born into this feel. Do they feel actual depression when cutoff from the collective? I might feel bored myself, but i'll just go read a book or something. Anyone is free to chime in from the younger groups to add some perspective.

I think what's unethical about it is the fine line between letting him do it himself and forcing him into the play.
It's easy to hunt after a dodo, when people should be hunting after the lion. We know Chris will make a fool out of himself. I want to see the in depth plays where someone gets Chris to lose a hundred lbs and become a world competition body builder or something equally implausible. What I don't like is just degrading Chris for the sake of it. Though some might argue the masochistic fetish he may have.

As a zoomer who's a bit of a shut-in, it's quite peaceful when I spend some time away from the hivemind. I have a variety of hobbies I can work on instead, and it just gets chaotic at times dealing with a bunch of people. That being said I met a lot of people when I was in high school who basically made their existence depend on social media, and would be nothing without it.
What will Chris get for his messianic birthday? Anti psychotics under the tree maybe?
Who would get Chris anything? Heilberg?

and would be nothing without it.
I'm sorry to say you may be one of the few there Jon. In my experience more often than not I get that zombie stare when they are away from it. I'm a huge shut in, but all my hobbies require a decent amount of outside conversation to stay relevant. Everyone seems to have some form of socially inherited Asperger Syndrome.

I played that in middle school and I graduated 8th grade in 96. It was a Catholic school and the teachers watched us do it. I don't know if the game is the same everywhere but our version was basically a backwards game of tag, where one person basically ran until everyone caught up to them and just beat the fuck out of them. It could also involve a ball or Frisbee or something where you'd grab it, take off, get your ass kicked and then next kid would grab it and run. Somehow, in our minds possession of that ball immediately made you want to bang dudes and yet we all wanted the ball.

I think if Chris knew, he'd beg someone to try and get to 14BC and save his toys, or at least complain about it to Kengle and ask people to donate so he can buy new ones. You think he's asked the guards if he can have a console?
I've heard of prison inmates with consoles, but that wouldn't be available in jails. Here's a 2014 article about Xboxes in an Oregon prison. Also, if Chris ever makes it to the big boy prison he might be able to buy something like the HG-501 or HG-503 from the commissary.
I worded that wrong. I meant that Chris probably hates that he can't have access to them in jail or whatever institution that is currently holding him. I bet he misses playing Tetris on his Switch.
He wrote in one of his letters that he misses playing Tetris 99.

Hey remember that tf2 series Chris streamed a few years ago? Well they made a new video.

Ironically FWIW putting the pony and tf2 autism aside. The video is about "moving on" and how not everyone on this production team stays apart of it. It's almost like sn idiot savant situation, emphasis on the idiot part.

Tldr a Fandom that barely tolerated Chris and all his shit foolery has moved on with their lives and if not for said lives revolving around pure autism they seem almost like good people. Almost.

Meanwhile lardass is still rotting away in jail, is still known as the Trans retard who fucked his own elderly mom, and the only reason he hasn't been sent up the river is...well there are several reasons; he's more trouble than he's worth. They don't wanna look bad picking on a tranny tard, he's got the tranny and tard shields, etc. His life is going nowhere for another couple months at minimum and it can only get worse when/if he ever gets out.

Still I do kinda wish I could look into the time-line where where Chris is streaming another reaction to this video, while weens toss pennies at him like a monkey and his organ grinder. Possibly after filling barb up with tard tapioca.

Chris is a piece of art to me as beautiful as a Goya painting.
He is one of a kind, never to truly be replicated to such an extent. A real life Truman Show.
This might be unethical, but I think for the greater good of documenting the human condition Chris must continue on as Truman. Never, ever in history have we had such documentation on mental illness. Nothing has ever come close to this. I'd argue 9/10 points made by any therapist can be thrown into the garbage because once a patient realizes they are being "treated" it's hard to peer review and compare data.
Chris is unique in this as he realizes he is being watched and he continues to act as if he isn't being watched. It's mind boggling.
This entirely correct. I do not understand why mainstream academia are not doing articles, dissertations, and whole journals on Chris. He's relevant to psychology of course, but also anthropology, sociology, history, medicine, philosophy, religious studies, and even literature scholars would enjoy unpacking Sonichu.

Chris is without exaggeration an extremely valuable resource into documentation and research of social sciences and humanities generally. I don't mean social science and humanities in the obese blue-haired lesbian sense, I mean as serious fields of study. Academia ignores him to its own detriment. It baffles me that he's as well-documented as he is, and yet we have yet to see so much as a master's thesis about him, let alone peer-reviewed articles. If a bunch of spergs online could get as much as we have, imagine the work real experts could do on him regarding modern society, pop culture, and mental health.

I was just reading about the Vietnam War, dammit, i can't see this shirt in a normal way anymore
