Careercow Brandon "Bam" Margera - From Jackass to Lolcow

I'm wedging my opinion that the nine club guys are among the most blue pilled persons in podcasting in here and then leaving.
I’d agree, they get great guests but they are complete NPCs with no discernible personalities of their own, too afraid to offend anyone. I can’t argue your claim that they’re the most blue pulled in all podcasting but they’re very clearly a couple of washed up pros who stumbled onto a money factory of a podcast and they don’t do or say anything that could be considered controversial, including calling out guests when they’re full of shit (the “Gator is in prison for rough sex that got out of hand” scandal and “Jason Jesse totally isn’t racist cuz he said so on our show, pls ignore that he’s friends with established white power types used to draw white power signs on his helmet and boards, and got knocked out at a contest for calling an established pro a nigger to his face”

In the rare instance they have a guest I’m interested in listening to I have to skip the first 30 seconds without fail to avoid hearing “WEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL, WEEE R BAK…. & we have a VARY, VARRRRRYYYY, VARRRRRRYYYYYYTYTYTYYY SPEAsHULLLLL GESZT.”

Or the time they had that fat tranny on who objectively sucked at skateboarding and just fanned his balls the entire time, why was that fucking guy even there i kept asking myself.

100%.

Most people see Dunn dying affecting him to the point it crippled his life. But I never saw it that way. He's been a spoiled faggot his entire life that never matured. He's had a lot of money for nearly 30 years now through skating and Jackass. He can act like a total piece of shit and people will love him and his family will clean up after him.

I feel bad for his family and his son, but in the end he's getting the karma he deserves.
Yeah, if anything it was just a subconscious excuse to give up containing his vices.
"I'm just so saaaaaaad! I can't stop myself from binge eating and doing cocaine! I'm just soooo devistated by his death!"

I don't even think it was a conscious decision, his addiction is so strong he'll just use anything to justify it.

Bam definitely fell off in skateboarding too, don’t get me wrong he hasn’t made a film or tv show in at least a decade and is now probably blacklisted for the jackass debacle but after his pretend skateboarding comeback years back he slowly alienated every established pro that he came up with.
I forget which version of Tony Hawk it was (I had it on my 2nd gen PS2), but it was the first with Bam as an NPC, providing voiceovers for missions & trick instructions/narrations.

Even back then, I was struck with how absolutely bored & lackadaisical he sounded; and how little effort he made, even though the game was one of the biggest sports titles on the market (besides Madden, WWE/ECW, and maybe NBA).

All of the other skaters who provided voices for their NPCs actually sounded motivated, like they were truly thrilled to be part of fucking Tony Hawk's game, and which put life into their characters. They were entertaining & funny, even if none of them were professional voice actors or comedians.

Whereas Bam sounded exactly like a petulant, lazy teenager told by his parents to read the lines for homework, and he absolutely didn't want to do it.

The true & honest skaters I knew personally growing up were pretty upbeat & motivated types, so what doesn't surprise me is that even super friendly & open guys like Tony Hawk wouldn't want to be around Bam.

He just did a live video on Instagram. He’s getting discharged and he’s going to live with the shaman to lose weight. Even if he lost weight, he’s got so much booze bloat in his head and his liver and kidneys are shot.

The Bam ride never ends.

:story:
I wasn't rooting for him to die, or anything, but how the fuck is he still alive?!

I think it was pointed out earlier in the thread. But there seems to be two types of addicts like Bam.

A. They live a fast life and die young.

B. They live a fast life and constantly stumble and sink even lower and somehow manage not to die.

I like how whoever the fuck with him in the video was saying "Bam's healthy."

Define healthy.

>Snorts a couple rails of Adderall
>Downs 7 shots of everclear

Bam is healthy and good to go.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the assumption that TMZ was extremely reliable since their entire reputation depends on them breaking these kind of stories with accuracy.
lolwut? TMZ is tabloid trash. A literal gossip rag in motion. Case in point, reporting that Bam was at death's door in the hospital (or at least painting a grim picture by mentioning "wu flu" plus "ventilator" in the same sentence).

Pre-pandemic I think the average time on a ventilator was something like 3 days, that’s usually all it takes to recover or for the person to die. I wonder if he tried to pull a Jimi Hendrix and ended up with pneumonia that way

Yeah, like Ozzy Osbourne and Keith Richards.

Nurses become shockproof really fast, but I do wonder what they think of the scar from this. NSFW.

I strongly suspect he discharged himself against medical advice. He is definitely not far enough out of the woods to be going on a Bam bender right now. Which is exactly what he’s doing.
He definitely did. You don't walk out of a hospital a day after being on a ventilator with covid and pneumonia, if that's truly what it was.
