My farmer in Christ, you can have an interest in politics and have interpersonal relationships at the same time. In fact, I recommend it.

Interpersonal relationships and belonging and meaning are how you build a community that is resilient from niggertry. How else do you organize to try to defend and protect anything, or fight to take things back? A fucking hive mind? What is a milita or an army but tightly knit inerpersonal relationships with some command structure placed on top?

Authoritarianism is one way, and sometimes the only reachable, viable way, to deal with extreme emergencies, but it's not like authoritarian "makes it all go away", or makes you want to live without real relationships. Authoritarianism can make the niggers go away, sure. And lots of other people the new power structure doesn't like, be it guilt by association or just existing animosity. Or good old scapegoating. And guess how you deal with authoritarianism?
