Penny lying about the Farms:

I was really curious about how the pipe burst / bathroom GFM situation was resolved. I saw that they did reach their $8k goal, but then it seemed like there was no more news... After thoroughly checking, I can confirm that these two tweets are the last ones they ever put out about the GFM or the situation in general:
pipe-gfm.pngcleaver.png
Notice how there's no mention of them getting their bathroom fixed. No renovation pics or anything. Just a generic "Welp, thanks for giving us money!!" 🙄 In fact, I don't think they ever showed a picture of the "burst pipe", just a couple pictures of some minor water damage on the bathroom wall at the very beginning. Not suspicious at all!
But check this out:
facilities-1.png
facilities-2.png
Even on the final day (Sept 4th), right before they hit their goal, they were still claiming that the bathroom wasn't working. That's gotta be bullshit. The GFM was created on August 9th, so am I supposed to believe that they left a pipe leaking for nearly a full month? I don't believe they would have tolerated the water being shut off for that long either...
My bet is that the leak wasn't that bad, and either the Tranchers themselves or a hired plumber fixed it within the first couple days, Probably didn't even cost more than $500. The rest of the time they just lied for the grift. Awesome.

Penny (probably) lying again:

my other wife [Jen] pulled a bus driver out of burning wreckage this week
Lolwut. I can't find a single reference to this anywhere else. I somehow don't think Jen, an anorexic man who's semi-disabled due to a back injury, managed to pull a bus driver out of burning wreckage. And if he did, surely the Tranchers would have loudly & proudly proclaimed how Jen was a hero? Mentioning it in just a single throwaway tweet is very unlike them. 🤔

More lies and/or shady grifting:

They started their shady collection of goods & funds for the Pine Ridge Reservation / the Oglala Lakota in late October. Unlike last year, there's no GoFundMe; the Tranchers just want people to either send homemade goods (to the Tranch), buy stuff off an Amazon Wishlist (that again goes to the Tranch), or donate directly to Penny's Paypal.
I still don't understand why they are personally collecting the goods/funds unless it's just an outright scam. Why not tell people to ship goods directly to the Rez? Why not advertise a Paypal belonging to a Rez member? The Tranchers promised to collect everything and make a "monthly delivery", but I haven't seen any evidence that they've done this...
The picture of the kid is old, btw - it's from the trip they did last year.

Had a laugh seeing this (in relation to the Expansion GFM):

Bigotry is forcing relocation
The context is probably more like "there's an on-going trans genocide!!! we need a second property to provide a home for trans refugees!!!", but I like to think it's also a Freudian slip. "Bigotry [Capitalism / the Tranch being broke] is forcing us to relocate!"
I can't get over the absurdity of the Tranchers lying about how they're soon going to abandon the Tranch and crash at Penny's parents' house. How are they going to spin it when it becomes obvious that they no longer live at the Tranch and most of their animals are mysteriously missing? Maybe they'll try to push all the blame on Bonnie. I can't believe that evil capitalist landlord evicted the poor Tranchers! 🤣

Tranch "expansion" = they so thoroughly destroyed the local ecosystem -- not only the land, but the structures as well -- that the only option now is to abandon it all and move on to another place that they can then proceed to fuck up. Wash, rinse, repeat. Metaphorically speaking, cuz the tranchers don't wash.

It used to be that biblical plagues consisted of locusts and such. Given the aftermath they'll leave in their wake, I think the tranchers are an even worse plague than locusts.

I'm sure they'll blame their "forced exodus" on Earl, transphobia, terfs, capitalism and white supremacy.

At a glance, weather for Westcliffe that day was fair/sunny, with mild winds that developed into Beaufort scale 5-6 in the early afternoon, peaking at 29 mph. This would normally not be enough for a "sandstorm", unless it's on the tranch which has been turned into a blighted wasteland with no vegetation to keep the topsoil in place. That video looks like it was taken on the ranch, so the "sandstorm" probably only occured within their borders.

The bus crash is probably this:

which occurred on the 17th, five days earlier. It's the only article anywhere mentioning any sort of crash in the area. No visible "burning wreckage", though they're pretty totalled. Both the bus and truck look like they flipped with the bus flipped onto the drivers side. I very much doubt this... thing:

1671663359891.png

would have been able to pull much of anything out of "burning wreckage" other than taking a selfie next to it. Also absolutely zero mention of it anywhere on his twitter either. Just this the next day:

1671663817436.png

You'd think if he "heroically pulled a bus driver out of burning wreckage", or even witnessed the crash and called 911, he'd have mentioned it somewhere to make himself and the tranch look like some sort of heroes. But nope, absolutely nothing posted anywhere about it. Doubt meter registering off the scale here, unless he either caused the crash somehow, or tried to render aid and failed miserably, then had to wait for first responders to show up.

More crash info from here.

@Burd Turglar sent me now I gotta catch up.

Colorado is so pretty and it is such a shame that the Tranchers are there to uglify it.
Kiwi group trip to Crestone when?

As far as the Alpacas, I'm under the belief they'll go with the 'path of least resistance' when they leave the Tranch. i.e. They are going to open whatever gate (as they abandon property) so they can become wild Alpacas. I also assume they'll immediately die from the list of obvious reasons.

Penny and Co like to larp as ranchers, but there's no reason to believe any of them would kill the flock, directly, if it meant less hardship for the animals. And with the sheer number of animals, I don't foresee relocation as a possibility. (Maybe if they put in effort and was able to move them piecemeal, but that's effort they don't have)

So they'll open the gates, leave, and feel bad for a minute. But after a few days, the tranchers will have already moved on emotionally since they can lie to themselves and think the animals are fine in the wilderness.
T-5 minutes til coyotes get them.

Maybe it'll be like Pablo Escobar's hippos and Colorado will become known for an established feral alpaca population?
iirc at one point they had diyotes because some dumbass had an intact dingo for a pet, and I know for a 100% there's coydogs out there.

Wait, THE LAKOTA?
Navajo and Ute are right there.
How much did they piss off the locals that they partnered with a group in South Dakota?

Odds are if released, they'll either start to eat neighboring ranchers grass and get shot, or coyotes in the area will grow fat and multiply for a season or two off them. But they are a pretty hardy animal that's typically bred high up in the Andes, so who knows, they might survive and become a massive ecological disaster for the entire region. One last sort of "fuck you" to everyone there from the tranch to spread its blight.
The tranchers could be rehired as the frontline tacticool soldiers in the Great Emu Alpaca War as they try to cleanse Colorado of a new pest population.

I had not realized the land had been abused so much. Blasted hellscape is no longer hyperbole to describe their property. I honestly hoped that they would do something well, get themselves offline and grew as people. It is unfortunate that it is so easy to pretend to be self improving.
The damage these disgusting troon scum have caused to the land can literally be seen from space. It's on Google Earth even.

I'm hoping they've noticed these repulsive, evil troons are destroying the property and maybe even have a rescue plan when the troons do their usual troon thing and abandon them to die when they flee legal process, as troons always do.

The TUR is a study in decision making, location and failure. Nothing they have done has worked out without significant contributions from outside the 'tranch. None of Phil's ideas have worked out, because it's all bad decision making and unrealistic expectations.

They picked a bad location with shit resources for agricultural activites at scale beyond hobbiest. Maybe only Phil has any kind useful experience here that is applicable to the operation. Certainly not his "wives." His "wives" are loss centers here. All of this in blue Colorado.

Phil blames bigotry, right-wing militias and the CIS white patriarchy (these are iNterSectiOnal). But Firestarter Books, in red North Carolina, surrounded by red counties managed to pull off a seemingly nice Anarchist community. I know Asheville is deep blue but the surrounds are not.

Because Firestarter, as I've followed them, were led by a trannie but did the Right Things Right (metrics). Firestarter even got seed funding because of their successes to move into new digs and do a 'solar punk' sort of thing. Anarchists, yes, but successful. I'm a bit jelly.

This isn't an apples/oranges comparison. It's a study in successful decision making stemming from behaviors, character, intelligence, etc. Phil is a failure, other trannies are not. Bigotry has played not one iota into Phil's failures.
Despite positive media providing artificial support to the TUR narrative, the TUR continues to fail. It's in bad shape and needs a lot of money to survive. It needs more money to thrive.

Phil and his 'family" has failed at everything except surgical genital mutilation and squalor.

The Lakota grift: Phil has a potato's idea of history but probably realizes the Lakota have a left wing history with AIM and Wounded Knee. Given his potato's idea of the IRA, he likely has some kind of romantic idea of insurgency and armed revolt and helping the Lakota provide some substance to his fantasies. He's not a failure who emasculated himself and lives with other failures (with poor hygiene), he's a revolutionary. He needs the Lakota association to validate his view of himself. It's the only thing that has worked to some degree. Optics and narrative.

@NoReturn
Wait, THE LAKOTA?

How much did they piss off the locals that they partnered with a group in South Dakota?
That's a great question. As far as I know, they've never given a good reason for it. Kinda suspicious, especially with how they insist on personally collecting the goods/money which they then pinky-promise will be delivered to the Pine Ridge Reservation. It's always smelled like a scam to me, because even if they do make deliveries, there's no way of knowing if the Tranchers are skimming off the top. All of this could be easily avoided if they would just advertise a GoFundMe/Paypal/shipping address/etc that's controlled directly by the Reservation instead, but they "strangely" don't want to do that...

However, there IS something we do know: Penny has an Oglala Lakota friend named Katrina Mora. She lives in Longmont, Colorado (Penny's hometown) rather than the Pine Ridge Reservation though.
  • When the Tranch was running the GoFundMe for the Oglala Lakota last winter, they said they were going to hand-deliver envelopes of cash to Oglala Lakota families in need. Penny name-dropped the Pine Ridge Reservation, but he also included the line "and to folks who no longer live on the res". When it came time for the Tranchers to deliver, they posted pictures & videos of themselves visiting an (at the time) anonymous Native family [1] [2] [3]. As far as we know, this was the only family the Tranchers ever delivered to, and it was weird because they looked like a middle-class family who weren't even living on the reservation.
  • This past summer, the Tranch made a GoFundMe to support an Indigenous business run by an "Indigenous elder" named Katrina Mora, who had a striking resemblance to the woman they delivered envelopes of cash to previously. Katrina Mora was doxed, and yes, she turned out to be a personal friend of Penny's and was not at all an impoverished Native living on a reservation. The Tranchers never disclosed any of this. It seems like they just fraudulently used the Pine Ridge Reservation name to raise money for one of Penny's friends. And who knows, perhaps the Tranchers got a cut of the money for their trouble? :)
That's my theory, anyway. While the Tranchers did make a trip down to South Dakota to dump a bunch of junk (including their worthless alpaca fiber) off at the reservation, it seems like most or all of the money raised went to Penny's friend instead. I think the Tranchers started crowdfunding for the Oglala Lakota because the Tranch's own grifts had been drying up, so they wanted to see if they could find some new suckers willing to donate to some Native Americans instead. The goal was probably to get good publicity, and it's also possible that they had an arrangement with Katrina Mora to split the money.

Right:
PlatMap2 - Copy.png
There to be exact. Composited from an (August-11-2022) satellite image and the custer county plat map (map of land parcels), that's the land attributed to Boyer Ranch.

Purchased by the Navajo Nation in 2018 as an expansion of the Navajo Beef program, their second such purchase in the county after Wolf Springs Ranch bringing them to a total of ~67000 acres and change of cattle ranch, all about a mile west of the Tranch (which I trust you can spot without me highlighting it). If they'd tried to bring their trailer of secondhand clothes and onionskin-dyed alpaca wool to the local Navajo they'd have been able to hear the laughter all the way home.
