time to get autistic.
This started way before Social Justice Warriors were even a codified thing. Youtube atheists were growing in number around 2008 as they picked fights with crazy religious people, and TJ Was part of that, and TJ quickly became one of the biggest names in youtube atheism because of his eccentricities and aggressive persona. worth noting that TJ was already picking fights with feminists at this point, 2 years before sargon even made his youtube account.
Around 2011 was the proverbial golden age of youtube atheism as a community grew forth. Bible Reloaded, Syeten atheist, darkmatter, The atheist experience, and also sargon of akkad, the list goes on. raking in hundreds of thousands of viewers per video, which was fucking massive back then.
But TJ was already picking fights with feminists and misandrists, because his shtick was always picking fights with any group of people he found to be irrational from his perspective.

I dont know how to check the growth of a video over the years, but this video had a million views back when a million views were still a big deal.
around 2012 you saw the creation of atheism+ and other atheist organizations and movements, and with that, the slow filtration of identity politics in the form of feminism. It didnt take long before the atheism movement sort of split as feminists do what they tend to do best, which is pick fights with everyone. People like TJ were, obviously, not a big darling being that he was not politically correct and was already pissing in the feminist cereal.
whilst 2015 might be his first mention of sjws, he had always had his cannons aimed at the socjus, before the socjus even really existed. Though around 2015-2016 other voices quickly outpaced him, so its easy to forget how big of a name he was back in the early days. Though The Drunken Peasants Podcast was still one of the largest podcasts in the skeptics community unless im mistaken, and pretty much every major figure of the gamergate/skeptic/whatever showed up on it once or twice through their career.
I mean, there is a fucking reason TJ has been on Joe Rogan twice.
Starting the long sordid and epic tale of Youtube atheism by jumping straight to 2014-2015 is like starting the LOTR trilogy by going immediatly to the end of the second movie.
