I know I'm late. Does he get off with time served from his time in jail? Did he not spend enough time (60 days) in jail to get off with time served? Will he be forced to spend his time in some sort of correctional facility (jail/prison) or might he get off with something like an ankle braclet?

I have no time to read the thread atm and would like to know this. Answers appreciated.

He is glowing like it's going out of style. 2 months prison + 5 years probation is so weak considering all the evidence the government has on him, they could have thrown the book at him like so many others, interesting.

Long probation is very fitting for in IRL steaming fags.
Probably judge look at all this and realised that there is no way this man will not commit any crime or misdemeanor in the next 2 years.
Basically this is judge, representing society, telling him this is his last chance (probably) to stop being a social neusance and annoyance.

Sixty days is pretty good considering a lot of his fellow protesters are being held as terrorists. Bad news is that's sixty days of being a known snitch. There are inmates in jail whose hustle it is to pull background checks on people so the others know who to avoid/hit with soap.
I keep hearing about this an how chomos are "beat/kill on sight", so explain how someone like Joseph Rosenbaum was ever allowed to live out his sentence, please and thank you

Where are gang members held before being sent to prison, exactly?
Sure, but why would they all be at the same jail, at the very same time, as this guy? Idk anything about the "Peckerwoods". They're a prison gang, no? Aren't they mostly active in prison, where they're all serving long sentences already? Why would there be so many in jail, enough to start a gang and extort people in a jail, where it's mostly people coming and going for a few days to a few weeks? I know people stay longer, but it's a very transitional environment. Most people heading to penitentiary want to get the fuck out as quick and easy as possible. I don't think too many of them are starting jailhouse gangs.

will typically also have pods that either have secure doors or at least be partitioned off from each other
Sure they do. But they're only locked down at night. During the day they come and go as they please.
Well that's the extremely widespread term for it and if you read slightly above that line it's because I speculate he'll be a pussy and intentionally get himself thrown in segregation.
I know nothing about "Baked Alaska" besides the fact that he's a pussy and he pepper sprayed some innocent bystanders. I'm really not all that interested in him, but that's the one thing I know about him, that he's a coward. The thing is, even cowards don't want to be in protective custody for 60 days. It's the most miserable thing ever, being stuck in a cell alone for a week is nearly unbearable, a couple months is torture. Solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment. When inmates request to be put in "protective custody" the jail staff will try to talk them out of it, because they know it's torture. They've seen people ask to be put there and then beg to be let out.

Case in point, Jeffrey Dahmer was in solitary because they knew people would want to kill him in prison. He stayed there for several months and then begged to be let out because he was going insane. Humans are social creatures, and being locked away with little to no human contact is one of the worst things you can do to a person. That's why they only put people in solitary when it's the last resort.

Also, it's not like solitary is the only choice for people who are exceptionally weak and small, homosexual oddballs who don't fit in with the larger jail population. For instance, if Alaska got his ass kicked, less say he was jumped by a pack of niggers for getting smart with one of them (that's how niggers fight of course). After that, let's say he begged not to go back in that unit or dormitory because he doesn't want to get jumped again, and asked to be put in solitary. They don't necessarily have to. There's other, smaller cells in pretty much every jail for situations like that. They can move him to a small cell with the homosexuals, or the people with medical problems if there is room. That would be a whole hell of a lot better, and a much less drastic action, than putting him in solitary confinement.

You're clearly someone with zero to very limited experience in the system,
What are you, a deputy or something? If so, this would explain why you think jail is more dramatic and gang filled than it really is. Deputies always make it seem like they're in charge of these real dangerous individuals. (sometimes they are, but not usually).
