I know there has been some talk about people building their own crowdfund sites and maybe jumping ship from IGG recently, so I thought this may further the conversation here. I just saw that Gaybe Eltaeb's campaign for Truth, Justice, and the American Gay is under review by IGG at the moment and not accepting contributions. I checked Gaybe's Twitter, but he isn't talking about it. Also, I'm not sure if this could be an IGG thing or be because of the fued between Gaybe and the co-creator David Williams.

You basically answered your own question. Brooks is salty because Marvel is performing like ass. He's looking to blame CG instead of taking a critical eye to his own side. I think this was discussed and generally agreed to months ago when Dean Assaf interviewed him with a bunch of gay softball questions.

Frankly, Brooks is an idiot for lashing out an FROG and CG. He's playing right into their narrative that they are this big influential force that is affecting the industry. If somebody is really that inconsequential, like isn't the smarter move to just to ignore them?

I'll add to this. It took me many years to put into words just why I resent people like Frog and Fandom Menace and the whole group.

That group came into a legitimate culture war flashpoint, sold their services a culture warrior, then pivoted (disingenuously), to questioning when have they ever been marketing themselves as culture warriors

I feel bad for that poor guest who had no idea what was coming when Frog began his Methwyn introduction. I think this was his first visit with Comicsgate too. I still haven't watched it all the way through (I don't think I will) but at some point he dipped out.

When you give any attention to a malignant narcissist psychopath. they aren't paying the slightest attention to the content of what you say or type. They're just basking in being the center of attention. The void inside this human cancer left by his abusive parents is impossible to fill. He's old, beyond any chance of getting psychiatric help. He just has to take his medicine to flatten out the mood swings and quiet the flashbacks to his childhood.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think the above clip is quite as bad as some of you are making it sound. I didn't hear too much laughing.

THAT SAID, him playing that shitty War Campaign clip before dropping such somber news is just filthy. I don't know what you think you were doing there @FROG, but you look like a total asshole for doing that. There's a time and a place, and now was not the proper time. When you're trying to express sympathy for somebody, you don't make such garbage your lede. In fact, you should probably just burn everything that had Ro and Pan Boy's greasy fingerprints on it. That's phase of CG wasn't exactly your finest hour.

Also, can I just say that while CG has mocked Edwin for his "fudge speech," the man did have something of a point? What he's saying is stop communicating in shit-tier memes and speak plainly to consumers. Furthermore he was postulating that WC's attacks weren't gonna help CG's image any, and I'm pretty sure he was ultimately proven right on that one.
