The worst thing about authors at things like this is that they can't tell when you're just talking to them because you feel bad that they're sitting there alone and it's awkward to see another human being in that situation. I get that you'd slit your wrists if you didn't rationalize your decisions, but they still have to talk like they're better than everyone else and are just misunderstood geniuses. It's gross, you write bad Lovecraft rip-offs, great use of your genius, dummy. Here's $12, I'll take the one with the redhead dressed like Indiana Jones on the cover.Also, re the con- as someone pointed out over on the other forum, if Pat had sold a book or had a like of fans queuing up like he claims, you just know he'd be uploading photos of it. He shares every single aspect of his life yet there's not a single photo of him with any of his "many fans"?
Pat can't even post a pity conversation photo. It's either that he's that unpitiable or no one at the con had empathy. Both, I suppose.
