He probably can't stop all the mockery for what he's already done, but if he started making actually funny or interesting content, it would die down.

Look at Sargon of Akkad/Carl Benjamin for an example of this. He was getting trolled pretty mercilessly after his failed run at politics so he took some time off the internet and started a new channel that's pretty successful now and people like. Some people will inevitably bring up stuff from his past like the "I wouldn't even rape you" comment but after enough time passes if you don't give people something new they don't care anymore. If DSP could have a redemption arc, people might still bring up his most egregious begs, bannings, racism, and live masturbation, but if he made decent content for 10 years going forward starting today, in 10 years very few people would still care.

However, Phil can never do this, as seen by the daily 20 minute podcast segments about how he doesn't care what the trolls think, constant begging off "muh bills"(while anyone with any financial sense whatsoever knows how wasteful he is), belching, snorting, yelling at his viewers, etc. He knows all the things he needs to do, but because the solution is years of hard work instead of a quick fix, he just refuses to do it.

3 more money making gimmicks? He doesn't even make them up now, his dents feed him ideas of how he can take their money dude's hopeless for doing anything himself. He just runs that shit into the ground with the only gimmick that he has invested any part of himself in and that's begging.

Someone in Raw DSP chat was saying how his commentary for spooky games is worse than other games. So I had to mention how spooky games build off tension and atmosphere; while DSP breaks by talking about shitting all over the floor and pissing in people's mouths, then finishes his "reactive commentary" off with a 10 second ACK ACK ACK. If DSP ever found himself in a horror movie type scenario; he's the person you'd want to kill off.

just thought i'd mention, phil is playing Dead Space Remake since it's the current triple A must play slop that's been released.

just amuses me that despite claiming he makes his own schedule and everything, he's just a slave to whatever is popular. for example, my entire friend group and some of the content creators I follow have been freaking the fuck out over Hi-Fi Rush. has phil made even the slightest mention of it? because it's apparently an absolutely huge hit.

also it's a rhythm game and I just want to see phil play a rhythm game because he's autistic.

Yeah I just completed it last night. Surprisingly great game and up my alley. Always the random games I come across that end up being gems.

Anyway, he did mention it. But he spun it around to shitting on hype game reviewer/journalist and new AAA being stinkers/overhyped with marketing while games like this turn out to be great. Of course, he doesn't practice what he preaches and buys the slop anyway.

This whole thing is so typical DSP.
  1. do something stupid that might get him in trouble
  2. berate and ban people telling him he's doing something stupid that might get him in trouble
  3. secretly walk it back and act like it never happened
  4. ban people bringing up the fact he secretly walked it back and is acting like it never happened

It's such a scummy, cowardly way of handling things. Absolutely disgraceful.
