Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

Forgive me for double posting, but I find it truly insane and it needs breaking down.

I'm not even including the "walking tours" as you can literally get free walking tours from poor History majors in basically all European cities, and you only need to give like 10€ afterwards to calm your conscience.

Hiking is also obviously free.

- Train from Naples to Sorrento: 5 to 8€.
View attachment 4375960
- Bus from Sorrento to Positano: 11€.
View attachment 4376020
- Ferry from Naples to Capri: 25€
- Double bedroom in a 4-star hotel in Naples: 83€ a night. Under 500€ for five nights.
- Average meal price in Naples: 12 to 30€. If you were to be dumb and spend 60€ a day on food, it would mean 360€ for six days, since a normal hotel includes breakfast.
- Bus to Pompeii: 3 to 6€.
- Guided visit to Pompeii: 40€.

- Bus to Mt Vesuvius: 10€
- Tour of Mt Vesuvius: 60€

Seriously. Even with a guide, that costs 200—300€ per day, if you split it among a 20 person group that's 15 € a day. For six days, 90€. Honestly, having a guide with you all day for six days is really unnecessary in a Western country where almost the whole local economy is oriented towards tourists. But OK, let's say they really need the guide. The trip as described wouldn't amount to much more than 1.000€, even with the wine tasting and the "pizza course", which are the typical activities a tour company gets for very cheap from friendly businesses in exchange for sending the gullible tourists their way.

How important does this idiot Sander think he is? Whoever goes on this trip honestly deserves to get scammed.

.
These sorts of package deals are designed for middle aged small town Midwesterners who are going on a "once in a lifetime trip to Europe". They lack street smarts and need to be shepherded around, and they also lack the confidence to attempt to research things to do and plan their own itineraries - they want a guarantee that they'll check off the boxes of things to do while they're there. They're paying a premium for peace of mind, kinda like those retiree cruises. It's honestly not a bad itinerary all things considered, but not to my taste. Whenever my partner and I go to Italy I like to have unstructured days and just go exploring and relax over aperol rather than "we need to get up for 9am because the bus leaves at 9:30 on our tour and then we'll be back here for 4pm and that gives us an hour to get ready before the next scheduled thing, and then tomorrow we're going to another city having only spent a day here". I'm a Britbong though so it's a lot easier for me to go to Italy.

Ironically this also means such packages work well for genderspecials who lack resilience and need to be handheld around a bunch of stage managed locations, lest they accidentally interact with an actual local who calls them a mezzo finoc (or if they're female, tries to fuck them). That's probably why whoever's running this has got Sander on board, to try and tap into that market. If you're thinking "but these people have no money", consider: software development, corporate HR, people sponging off wealthy parents.
Jesus...Looks like Sander has a lot of male admirers*. Guess that explains the incessant shirtlessness.

* And whiners
Sander's got (flabby) abs, is losing his looks, is young, is highly impressionable, and is desperately insecure and searching for validation. That's catnip for a certain type of predatory gay man who thinks they might get someone going cheap in the sales.
I am Jazz, S8 ep 2, Mommy Dearest.

Jazz has been worried about coming home from college as her mother is overprotective and even tracks his phone.

He goes to a beach party and somewhere with Sander, and Mommy is worried when they don’t answer the phone and goes out to track them down. Jazz is upset mom shows up at party, but is very reasonable, saying he is 21 and wants to do normal things. Jeannette first used the excuse there is more hate than ever and worries, then nags Jazz to tell her about the party. Jazz says he got in his head and sometimes when he does that he goes to a bathroom and takes off all jus clothes. (??) Mom says she was right to be worried, Jazz had social anxiety, mom instinct.

Jazz meets up with trans friends to get juices, but Jazz gets pb&J. . Jazz’ friend is getting a boob job, but Jazz says he got the breasts he always wanted thanks to estrogen and mom. Jazz loves being able to sit with legs spread and a vagina. He always manspreads so wtf? Discussion of going stealth and. Jazz says he passes but would not go stealth. He shows pictures of men on his dating app. One fake plant calls him a faggot.

Next scene: Jazz makes a tik tok with Sander about her book being banned. Jeannette complains about Florida government. Jazz says people are afraid of change. Sander plays director. Cut! Roll! Jazz says Sander is no Spielberg, (no shit). Blah blah spread love blah.

Next scene At grandparents: Grandma doesn’t cook. More talk about book and video, blah blah, they play it for grandma. Jeanette has a bottle of vodka while complimenting Sander. Good choice Jeannette. Read comments from video. Uh oh, mom can’t take it she gets uglier.

Next scene: home with talk about Jazz picking classes. Jazz admits to using dating app and mom freaks out. Jazz isn’t supposed to be on those apps!!

Jazz sets up a date and Sander actually sings “Jazz got a boyfriend” like a six year old. Jeannette insists Sander go with, Has ha! Why these people even go home I don’t know. Jeannette thinks Sander makes things not weird ha ha ha ha! Sander doesn’t want to go either.

Jazz I’m her room calling Dayron. A very cute obvious actor. He admits to being an actor in a minute. He is fine with her trans status. Asks her out. Jazz tells him they have to double date. He’s cool with it, the more he’s on TV the better.

Jazz woke up next day feeling sick. Pool is drained and a turtle is in it. Dad helps get it out. Jazz kisses Turtle. Puts turtle in lake in back. Talk about Jazz being in her head too much but no explanation of what that means.

Jazz feels insecure because of Book ban being in dating world. He creates a video diary and says he needs to be perfect. He’s struggling but can’t figure out it’s because he’sa dude. Mom is listening to video diary and comes in. Jazz starts crying, mom says to stop thinking of herself.

“I just want to feel like myself. I’m so confused. I want clarity”. Jeannette attributes that to fame.

Now Jazz says mom is always there but Jazz sees it’s unhealthy to be too dependent on mom.

My takeaway: Jazz is growing up and all Mental issues are brought on by mom. They are far too codependent. If Jazz moved away he might figure out he’s actually a dude.

Edit: I wrote this as I was watching so excuse typos snd wrong gender. Sometimes I just wrote what they said.
You know what, it's rare I get to feel happy for Jazz in this thread, but good for him. It seems like he's actually starting to wake up to his situation and put his foot down with Jeanette. Some of this is no doubt scripted, but Jazz is pissing off Jeanette and doesn't care that he's pissing her off. Again, he's starting to show more of a spine than Sander.

@AssignedEva Good points on genderspecials having some spare cash and needing to be handheld, but I still predict failure.

And not just because Sander is involved.

The itinerary is too bland and “middle America” to appeal to genderkweers. Wine tasting? Christian (gasp!) cathedrals? Where are the red light districts, burlesque shows and modern art museums?

On top of that, middleclass genderqueers, tend to be shut ins and/or blow all their cash on “affirmative care”, consoooming or their non functioning stay at home homo partner.

But as you wrote, the tour company will likely end up on top even if only a few tickets were sold.

Color me surprised if Sander was a retard and didn’t notice that part in the contract that said he will only get paid if X amounts of people come, because he was too busy celebrating having made it as a social media star.

I seriously doubt that Jazz is still "suffering pain" from his chop; time heals all wounds (even those kept open by dilation). He manspreads because he's a man; it's a pelvis thing. Also, in Jazz's case, a fat thing. The scales are falling from his eyes re: Jeanette. Can the truth of his actual gender be far behind? It was quite heartrending to hear him acknowledge that he "used to be smarter." It's a fact that puberty blockers result in a lower overall IQ.

One of the deppressing things about following Jazz's story is just the utter withering or whatever potential he once had. Like, even putting aside the stuff done to his body, the poor fella doesn't seem to be able to entertain aspirations beyond... trans symbol? He just seems utterly stalled out.

That’s because he’s been a trans showpony his entire life.

It’s what he knows and the mental trauma he carries as a result of having been mutilated and turned into a eunuch, makes him seek comfort and what he knows.

Unfortunately, abs I’m not sure if Jazz realizes it or not, but he has an expiration date.

The troon show pony thing is all well and fine as long as he still looks like a fat prepubescent boy with long hair and a dress. But what about in a decade?

Will “the community” still embrace him as a pioneer when he’s a fat and balding and very obviously a man in a dress?

It feels a biiiit like writers/producers of the show could be reading either /Jazz/ or here the Farms because many of the things they're showing seem to address things we discuss a lot: Jeanette being an overprotective mother, Jazz wanting independence, and even the size of his breasts and his manspreading. It's either that or these things have become too obvious for them to not address them.

Jazz sets up a date and Sander actually sings “Jazz got a boyfriend”
A man again? This is what I meant the other day: the fantasy of Jazz being a girl can't exist without having a girlfriend. Him being paired with a girl would make him ask too many questions about his sexuality and identity and they can't have that, can they?

Talk about Jazz being in her head too much but no explanation of what that means.
It's a thing that Jazz does when he's under too much stress. He shuts down and tries to calm himself by 'ohm'ing his anxiety. It's basically a tantrum he did because he wanted to prove he doesn't need therapy when Jeanette was insisting on him to get it.

"No, mam, see I can calm myself like this!!"
*closes eyes, breaths deeply*

Jazz loves being able to sit with legs spread and a vagina.
It feels so good he can't close his legs years after surgery.
It must sting like hell when he puts his legs together. Like having a cut on your finger so you avoid using it.
I think it has more to do with him being fat. When your legs are that fat, it's almost impossible to close them together, man or woman.

Those clips of him playing soccer as a kid were particularly sad. He had true talent and potential and could've been a star. By "being in his head," I believe he means a little voice inside is telling him the truth, which he's been indoctrinated to view as "negativity." With luck, that voice will get louder.

Manspreading is a pelvic/skeletal thing. Google it.

It was quite heartrending to hear him acknowledge that he "used to be smarter." It's a fact that puberty blockers result in a lower overall IQ.
Could just be the result of a smart kid suddenly being in a place where he’s average or in the bottom 50%, but it could also very well be because of puberty blockers.

For all the “it’s safe and irreversible” we don’t actually know a whole lot about the brain and hormones. (Or lack thereof.)

We know that hormones are part of the brain’s signaling mechanisms. We know that the brain keeps developing until you’re in your 20ies, and we know that the last massive dose of hormones in the human development is in the puberty.

So it’s logical to assume that stunting puberty simultaneously stunts the brain, but we don’t KNOW.

Thanks Jazz for playing his part in the worlds biggest and most grim science experiment.

Those clips of him playing soccer as a kid were particularly sad. He had true talent and potential and could've been a star.
Dude… He was a boy playing against girls.

He didn’t have “talent and potential” he was cheating.

Manspreading is a pelvic/skeletal thing. Google it.
If anyone's interested, this is specifically about the quadriceps angle or Q-Angle. Women have a larger pelvis than men (because childbirth) so in repose men's legs have more "lateral angulation" (aka splay more) than women's. It requires a (tiny) amount of effort for men to sit with their legs together, whereas women naturally sit like that when relaxed.

The inverse is true of what's called the "carrying angle". If you stand with your palms facing out, women's arm splay more than men's due to both narrower shoulders and the wider pelvis, and it requires a (tiny) effort for women to hold their arms closer to their bodies in this pose.
html_6_2_2.fil1.jpeg
The latter difference is obvious when you see a man and a woman try to hyperextend their elbow (although that also has to do with sex linked differences in connective tissue).

Before you ask, no, hormones don't change these things :tomgirl:

Jazz tells us that cis women can't just take estrogen to make their boobs grow like men because genetics don't work that way. He really does think taking artificial hormones is just no big deal. Bruh.
I'm baffled that he said "a lot of women who want bigger boobs think 'oh I can take estrogen like trans women do and I'll end up with growth', but it doesn't really work like that" because
1) he actually thinks that real women can grow their breasts with estrogen and that real women think it's a viable method
2) he says "it doesn't really work like that" without considering why he thinks it works for transwomen and not for real women. Jazz, what difference does transwomen have compared to real women?

It feels so good he can't close his legs years after surgery.

Oh the wonderful joys of genital mutilation.

A trannies mind is an absolutely fucking wretched place. Healthy body parts bad, mutilation good and it needs to be done as often as possible and you are always playing pretend. Pretend to be the opposite sex, pretend to be happy with a disgusting horror man-hole between your legs that heals shut if you don't insert a plastic rod into it for the rest of your miserable life.

He probably thinks his Amhole feels good because it's numb and doesn't hurt like the rest of his fat, abused body.

When Jazz talks about women believing they can go their breasts with estrogen, we need to realize how limited his contact with the outside world is.

He doesn’t know a whole lot of women.

Pretty sure he got the impression from his social media, where some dumb 14 year old girl went: “Oh that’s so cool! I want to grow my breasts with hormones Teehee!”

And Jazz having limited exposure to women who aren’t handmaidens and yes-women, thinks that normal women think like this.

He's mad he's reminded he's a trannie, but all they do is remind the world that Jazz is trans.

Also, he's mad that men won't date a trans woman? Well, news for you kiddo: people won't date you because you're fat, thin, tall, short, white, black, liberal, conservative, old, young, etc, etc. Real women who are much better looking than average are rejected for minor things...

It's irrelevant who he was "playing against"; it was a five-second clip, not the whole game. The point is, he had the moves.

We actually DO know that puberty blockers result in a lower IQ. And poor Jazz is living proof. Even he knows it.
When he said he doesn't feel as smart as he thinks he should be, I think he was just comparing himself to the other students in his year at Harvard and realized he isn't all that brilliant.

One of the most interesting parts of the episode is when Jazz has that breakdown in his room and says something like "I just don't feel like I align with my body." That all makes sense, his dick got cut off. And his mood swings are side effects of taking too much estrogen in his male body. He also says he doesn't feel like he is in the right situation in his life, or where he wants to be. Jeanette says something about how Jazz is sometimes overwhelmed by the pressure of having a public life and a private life, though we all know it is Jeanette's fault in the first place.
