The only ones I can think of that are currently heterosexual, unless later episodes change that, are Millie, Loona, and Stella (possibly Octavia too) from Helluva Boss. For me I been trying to think what cartoon female character have I seen in recent years who wasnt lesbian or bisexual and was just plain straight?
Main character would definitely be a lot harder since I only tend to watch shows I'm personally interested in, but for side characters:I'm talking main. But if you side characters go wait ahead
True true. But I feel like Candice came before all the lesbian stuff was put in animation.Main character would definitely be a lot harder since I only tend to watch shows I'm personally interested in, but for side characters:
- Connie (SU)
- Mermista (She-Ra)
- Candice (P+F)
Sure there's a lot more but that's all that comes to mind right away.
Imagine how much of an improvement Korra as a show would be if Mako wasn't there. Let Bolin be the guy on the team, that's all you need. Can i put Korra & Asami before S4 as examples?
The hand holding ending is just a asspull from Bryke.
They're literally in a mess of a romance triangle in both S1 & S2. C'mon.
I remember I gave up on Korra after season 2. I remember that whole love triangle plot. You have to imagine my shock years later hearing about how Korra and Asami were the first lesbian of western animation after not caring about the show and how it ended. I was like "what weren't they fighting over the same guy how the hell did they jump to wanting to fuck each other!"Can i put Korra & Asami before S4 as examples?

Mako was a Gary Stu.Imagine how much of an improvement Korra as a show would be if Mako wasn't there. Let Bolin be the guy on the team, that's all you need.
S3 happened. Both triangle plots were dropped for a nice general plot change.I remember I gave up on Korra after season 2. I remember that whole love triangle plot. I don't think they were the first if we're talking modern animation, there was Marceline and Princess Bubblegum from AT. I've heard there were hints during its fifth or sixth season which isn't really confirmation, but it's more than Korra and Asami got.I remember I gave up on Korra after season 2. Johnny is an actual Chad, for real. He got swole all because he wanted to take some girl to the prom, that took lots of dedication. He couldn't even stretch the exercise springs at first, but he kept going until he snapped them. According to his creator, he is successful with women, just not when we see him. Furthermore, despite hard rejection after hard rejection, he never never gives up and he never blames his situation on others. He respects people who are physically inferior to him, as his best friends are his mother, a lanky nerd, and a small child. If that doesn't make him a Chad, I don't know what does.
Was pretty subtle.
The biggest irony of the Harley Quinn show is that everyone is funny...except her.Alright, I want to give this show another shot and try not to sound like a sped.
The show is simply put, a half parody, and not some deep look into Harley’s mind. It is a show that is a joke on Batman, yet still retains some level of a coherent narrative. I honestly feel like the show is trying to replicate the success of say, Panty & Stocking, which was a raunchy, South Park lite, parody of magical girls, yet still held a genuine narrative. LEGO Batman is probably a more amp comparison though as many of the characterizations seemed ripped from that film such as Bane and King Shark being more comedic.
I feel that as a one season show, the series worked. It had an end goal of fixing the main character similar to that of LEGO Batman while going through a comedic rendition of the Batman mythos. The trajectory of Harley’s character from being Joker’s bitch, to needing to out due and prove herself to him, to Ivy finally getting it in her thick skull that she needs to stop seeking validation was handled pretty well, or at least, as well as a comedic take like LEGO. Season 2 started out promising, but fell apart due to there not being a real character arc to achieve. At first, it was fine as the premise of No Man’s Land, the popular story that inspired Arkham City, did most of the heavy lifting, but once they lost that it was directionless. Same goes for Season 3, as episodes were just random misadventures with little plot and the jokes getting progressively worse as the ship continued. A big contributor to the rot being the more widespread insertion of the writers’ fetishes. The end to season 3 gave me some hope though. They had a few really good episodes with interesting ideas, a stand out being the one in Bruce’s mind.
The show is an anomaly to me. It is not a completely hopeless series and has high points, but it feels like it never really knows what it wants and seeing the Valentines Day special only makes me think it is going to get bad again. I feel like if half the show was cut out, you would get a serviceable series, but as is, it is just a lot of lost potential. I will take the unpopular opinion of saying I enjoy the series, but I do wish it was better.
Yes I am aware of that. But it wasn't completely confirm until later on I believeI don't think they were the first if we're talking modern animation, there was Marceline and Princess Bubblegum from AT. Showing his successes with women would be too hardcore for CN.Johnny is an actual Chad, for real. He got swole all because he wanted to take some girl to the prom, that took lots of dedication. It's kind of sad when the only current show that seems to have a relatively sane take on gendershit is straight outta tumblr (and the MLP fandom too for that matter). The only ones I can think of that are currently heterosexual, unless later episodes change that, are Millie, Loona, and Stella (possibly Octavia too) from Helluva Boss.
Same but I’ll raise you with these Ed’s from the Cul-de-sac:
It helps that the show's creator, Danny Antonucci, is redpilled on the cartoon industry. Here he says that modern cartoons are "writer shows".Same but I’ll raise you with these Ed’s from the Cul-de-sac:

Between them and the kids they interacted with that were not the Kanker Sisters, this cartoon was ironically one of the best diverse shows to lead CN.
I’m just glad it was not rebooted, even if I sound selfish for saying it.
Oh God him and Butch Hartman are the few non sheep cartoon creators in the animation world. Got any others? It helps that the show's creator, Danny Antonucci, is redpilled on the cartoon industry. Here he says that modern cartoons are "writer shows".
Ironically (and may god have mercy on my soul for saying this) that show waited till it was near its end before introducing cannon lesbian characters. And even then unlike other western shows that go there it was really restrained in the portrayal. Really for all the...wrong it wrought, and trust me we have several cows. Among them our patron saint cow, and an entire board in animal control to attest to that. The actual show itself remained tame as far as politispergatry in western animation went even as the 2010's embraced it more and more.the MLP fandom too for that matter
I said this in the Helluva boss thread, but as soon as the latest of HB dropped you would not belive the sheer number of coomers and wokies leaving comments begging vivzie to make octavia and loona a couple just because they met up at the end of the episode and started something of a friendship. Even saying it'd be an, "uwu uwu cutie lesbian version of the relationship their dads have tee hee"The only ones I can think of that are currently heterosexual, unless later episodes change that, are Millie, Loona, and Stella (possibly Octavia too) from Helluva Boss.
