The whole accusations of racism are because normies aren't responding in agreement to the whole "she is a hateful terf".

Appropriating the causes of more sympathetic minorities is a major troon MO. In some countries gender self-ID laws were snuck through while gay marriage was being legalized. Opposition is always framed as "anti-LGBT" even when it has nothing to do with the LGB. They try to tie "gender-affirming medicine" to abortion rights. And they have taken to yelling on Twitter that their opponents won't stop after banning them from women's sport or changing rooms, they're going to go after gays/women/Jews next and murder them all for some unfathomable reason.

It's as if they realize deep down how unsympathetic and unpopular they are, but then choose to parasitize other groups rather than changing anything.

Who's pre-ordered their copy? I don't play many video games, but after all the fallout (that's 'fallout' as in 'controversy', not 'Fallout' as in the Bethesda game - which is, coincidentally hugely popular with trannies) I felt I had to chuck seventy-five quid into J.K.'s 'Being Based' fund and get the digital deluxe edition.

It looks amazing, all the footage showing characters exploring Hogwarts looks super comfy, and it has a character creator so I can finally live out my dark and hardcore gothic dreams by playing as my favourite Harry Potter character, Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way.

I only wish it had an online co-op multiplayer, so we could all form a 'Kiwis Only' house or something, and we could swap potion ingredients and transphobic memes in the common room.

I bought and am about to install additional RAM for the expressed purpose of playing the game. 8 gigs isn't going to cut it if I really want to contribute to the trans genocide.

Made the snap decision to pre-order a couple of days ago. (Also the digital deluxe edition.) While it's partly out of spite, it's more out of a desire to play what looks like a decent game. Watching preview gameplay just made it look fantastic. The coping and seething once the game comes out and everyone is saying how much fun it is will be glorious.

I'm sure Rowling was paid millions just for the game to be created, and buying it pre-owned does nothing because someone had to originally purchase it at retail (and thus pay Rowling?). That's not the dunk he thinks it is.

Yup, totally agree. The question, if there ever was one to begin with, of whether the game sells big despite any controversy is a foregone conclusion. Since pre-orders went up on Steam alone, Hogwarts Legacy has consistently been in the number one position. So any posturing or making a show about "I'm not buying HL because fuck J.K. Rowling!" or "I'm buying HL to spite anyone not buying HL!" is ultimately pointless.

February 10th (the day Hogwarts Legacy releases) is going to be fucking insufferable.
