The Mexican migrant shot dead by an Arizona rancher after crossing the border illegally and running onto his land can be pictured today for the first time as his family calls for 'justice' in his death.

Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, 48, was shot on Monday January 30th by 73-year-old rancher George Alan Kelly, after crossing onto Kelly's land in Kino Springs, a remote area of Arizona just 1.5miles from the border.

He was unarmed and was shot once - dying on the property.

Kelly, who friends say has had trouble with other migrants passing through his land, remains in custody in Arizona on a $1million bond, awaiting his next court appearance on a single murder charge.

He pleaded with a judge to lower it or set him free earlier this week, citing the fact that his elderly wife couldn't tend to their livestock alone, but he was sent back to jail.

Cuen-Butimea tried multiple times to enter the US illegally before Kelly shot him dead.

Records indicate he was deported several times, most recently in 2016.

It's unclear if he ever crossed the border onto Kelly's property before the incident on Monday.

Sheriffs say they did not know each other.

Many of the details of the case remain unclear, including whether Kelly will be able to invoke a stand your ground defense.

As Kelly awaits his next court appearance, Cuen-Butimea's family in Mexico are mourning his death and demanding justice.

They held a memorial for him in their hometown of Nogales, just over the border, last night.

It remains unclear why the 48-year-old had crossed illegally onto Kelly's land, or if he'd done it before. He had been deported several times before, the most recent of which was in 2016

On social media, his relatives are calling for justice.

'We will get justice for you, daddy, I promise,' his adult daughter said alongside Kelly's mugshot.

The family has not explained why Cuen-Butimea had crossed over into Kelly's land.

In court yesterday, Kelly begged to have his $1milion bond lowered.

'She's there by herself... nobody to take care of her, the livestock or the ranch.

'And I'm not going anywhere. I can't come up with a million dollars.

'Would you consider reducing it to any degree?' he said.

The judge, Justice of the Peace Emilio Velasquez, told him his lawyer would have to file a request to lower bond.

Kelly was appointed local public defender Brenna Larkin, who is yet to answer any media inquiry about the case.

Arizona's Stand Your Ground laws

Under Arizona law, 'a person is justified in threatening or using physical force against another when, and to the extent a reasonable person would believe that physical force is immediately necessary to protect himself against the other's use or attempted use of unlawful physical force.'
It could be used as a defense when homeowners attack — or potentially even kill — someone to stop certain crimes like murder, rape or armed robbery.
The Stand Your Ground laws are not permitted as a defense, however, when there was only a verbal provocation or the homeowner who is claiming self-defense provoked the attack.
By using the Stand Your Ground laws as a defense, prosecutors have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a defendant was not justified in using deadly force in self-defense.

Deploying the military and putting them on permanent border control duty could work. This also has the bonus of if you wait long enough people will get used to it and won't question build up as much for a potential invasion of Mexico.
How about just deploying the military to destroy the cartels and not letting mexican fent leak through the border. Its retarded to spend money on keeping them out, rounding up the ones that come in, and then housing/deporting them again and again and never question "why do these spics keep coming?"

the same people cheering for the farmer to murder the mexican are the ones crying and whining about niggers and the government ruining our country.

Shooting at trespassers who aren't putting you in danger seems like a dumb reason to risk prison time. I would be pissed if I was his wife. She's now left alone on a ranch because he felt like shooting Pablo while he was on his fifth quest over the border.
I cannot help but think he probably could've gone about it better, for exactly what you mentioned. I feel if the problem is truly as bad as he mentioned, where it is happening frequently, I would want to ensure above all else that my wife would be safe, which I cannot do from prison. Kind of sucks for her.

100% unironically: it should be legal to shoot illegals on sight. Fuck it, there should be bounties given out for each head you bring in. That's what you do when you get an invasive species that is so destructive it's actively destroying your quality of life.
i agree but I also think it will be pretty funny if some farmer and his entire family get gutted by the spic relatives of some of his victims.

I assume you'd kill the children as well, right? Dash the heads of those subhuman little bastards against a rock?

Evil. Pure, unadulterated evil.

Well that is always an option to. Though there is a fair risk I think that the current military leadership would try to make a conflict in Mexico into an endless war.

Random niggers living near the border getting into gunfights with Cartel niggers and other flavors of Beaner is quite common. I'm not talking about American thugs nigging around I mean just normal people trying to live their lives, sometimes you just stumble onto something you aren't supposed to see and it becomes a fight for your life. Euro niggers and city slickers simply don't understand. Your inner city dweller that lives in the ghetto will.

Also in El Paso the University there has the side facing Mexico up-armored to protect against stray bullets coming in from Mexico. Kinda funny, they should move it more inland away from Juarez

I'd say throw them back over the border, but frankly that would be more cruel. Either way, quit blaming Americans for wanting to protect their country from invaders, and blame the assholes who sent their kids over the border in the first place.

When killing mammalian pests it's considered cruel to leave the whelps alive and alone to starve after eradicating the adults.

Certified bugman moment.

no they wouldnt. the whole point of US proxy wars is that they happen far enough away that the US citizens dont even notice them. And when you say current leadership, i hope you arent stupid enough to mean the democrats. Neither party has any interest in actually fixing the issues with mexico because the Cartels are easier to deal wtih (and run drugs with) than any unified mexican government. and the illegals coming from guatemala, el salvador, other shitholes, are coming because of civil wars started at the behest of the CIA. Its frankly childish to bitch about illegals because a) you'd be trying to get here too if it were you and your shitty country and b) its the US government, both democrat and GOP-led, that supports the violence that makes these places shitholes to flee from.

I don't see how that's an issue. I don't want my government fucking with south american countries and I want my government to protect our borders.

While we're at it, I also want a state funded tier 1 ISP dedicated to the forum and $1,000,000,000 for myself.

Murder only applies to human beings, not Mexico's refuse.
You're right: a Mexican teen boy got killed by a gang and we had to attend his gravesite.
His little sister? Not one fuck given, sitting on the grass texting while her mother sobbed.
I think that same girl was pissed about receiving birth control via injection.

Nits make lice.

Because it's the same government allowing these border hoppers to run across the border and get free housing, free medical, and all their bills handled.

You can hate all three.

Go ahead and run south across the border and illegally try to take up residence and see what happens to you.

How many white children do you have?

Who in their right mind would talk about their children here?

Who in their right mind would ask about peoples children here?

Jesus Christ I usually give newfags the benefit of a doubt but you've been one of the most intolerable I've ever seen on the forum.
