Maybe not a deadbeat technically but he's certainly a fucking loser if he's bragging about not putting a penny into his daughters College fund because of his pathological hangups about women.
A Father is supposed to protect, raise and support their child, now if it was if he has issues with Universities thats another matter, I do myself they're Indoctrination camps and useless if you're not in a STEM field, but his problem isn't the College system, its that she's a female and he has this weird (totally Big Alpha

) hang up with women, he feels punished because he doesn't have a son to share Muh Dik stories with, if he had a son I wonder if he'd be proud of being a shitty irresponsible parent...
Seriously for a guy so desperate to present himself as this non simp Alpha Male poser, his fucking entire attitude screams Supreme Gentleman that resents women.
It's pure rationalization, like Drex thinks the only reason he'd give his daughter money is for college. People need money if they're getting married, starting a business, moving ......... all of which is easier if they have a starting cushion. She could even start contributing to it when she gets a part-time job. He just gilds his laziness as principled opposition.
Nick, how can you keep this animal around you and your family knowing that he has zero conflict with not just having a relationship with the child of a friend, but a BDSM relationship? That is cucked beyond cucked and treading dangerous waters. But I dunno maybe there's something about it being fine in the Bible so it can be justified.
There's a whole bit about how whoring out your daughters is peak degeneracy on the level that gets the entire town smote in a fire. (Sodom and Gomorrah) Lot only gets saved because he had some flash of shame about it.
Here is the hollering with full context. Never clipped a live show before so I had to do things differently. I messed up a few times visually (mouse on screen) but the audio is perfectly fine throughout. Someone can do a better job later if they want. My unsolicited opinion is that nick is correct and I agree with him. He wants law opinions instead of palm readings and feels that the people doing analysis could better use their skills elsewhere.

(Also, yes, that's my telegram ping.)
Why does Rekieta care about what the
gallery thinks at a trial? They are anywhere from reporters who have to be there, Nancy Grace, family members of the accused, and random other busybodies. They have zero to do with how the jury decides the case. The only way this makes sense is if you see the gallery as just more jury members who are allowed to express themselves, like Potentially Criminal said, but as we saw in the Depp trial, it's not at all the case that they are letting in people who haven't already made up their minds. Why does anyone give a shit about finding out what those people think? The "buzz"? I already know what
they think about the trial because they're
me - people too interested in something that doesn't involve them.
And if DUI Guy isn't qualified to talk about jury analysis because he doesn't know what the legal strategy is, then wouldn't it be the case that no jury is qualified to determine the facts because they don't know going in what each side is trying to "prove" in exactly the order they're going to do it? W T F, he is not making his points well at all. That's just admitting the "Theory of the Case" matters not a whit because it's all about selecting the right jury and nothing else, which is ALSO tea leaf reading. Why even bother doing legal analysis on the merits of the arguments? Why bother having trials? L O L.
"I only bring my guests on because my audience is too dumb to know better" is LMAO.
I think this is why Emily is doing way better than Nick in terms of viewership right now. She has a decade of experience as a deputy DA to draw from. When she discusses trials, she's able to say, "Here's how normal people think this process works. Here's how law school teaches you this process is supposed to work. Here's how it works in reality."
Nick has always been missing that last part. He has charisma, but so does Emily.
Except, she seems to actually like her kids, respect her spouse, and isn't allergic to hard work.
Emily is very quick with her opinions ("I wouldn't have done that" "I would have phrased the question like this") that gives the audience an alternate to think about and chew on. Nick thinks the audience just guzzles it straight down. He thinks this is a big truth moment instead of everyone being like, "Yeah, duh, we already take that into account when we watch people because we just like how they talk about it."
I won't be shocked to see Branca hesitate on joining future episodes of Nick's stream, he probably will continue to coast out this trial, but never again, cause unlike Nick he is trying to sell a genuine product to help people understand the law whilst Nick gets pissfaced shit fucking drunk and screams at the camera. If you're trying to sell books and put yourself out there as a good defense attorney, that shit ain't it Chief.
You could tell he wants to laugh, but his professionality told him not to, cause Nick sounds like an utter psycho with his rant. The real question is is Kurt wanting to laugh at Nick or tell him to shut up.
I think Kurt was relishing seeing Nick take the mask off so completely, like he doesn't have to hide being wary of him now. Or doesn't have to feel like if he only had a happy marriage and successful channel, all his problems would be fixed. It's a delight watching someone come down after they've acted high and mighty themselves.
