True, but my mates who are currently university students there said that there are groups of young people who are becoming more and more accepting of this tranny shit, which is really sad. I can't really comment on how common it is, but it is not the majority, most people in their 20s support the LDP. However, since western media is mostly concerned with being politically correct, and with how popular western media is amongst the Japanese youth, you can kinda guess where I'm going with this. Not to mention that many subsets of Japanese media have been gaining increasing traction in the west, and naturally to make more money they try to cater to western audiences, which in turn introduces said ideas to the Japanese public.

It is important to consider that whether or not acceptance is high right now, the trend is that it is increasing every so slightly, the rate of which is likely to also increase over time. That, in itself, is a problem.

My father, who is from Hong Kong, once confidently said that Hong Kong and Taiwan would never allow globohomo to gain influence in their own nations, just like SK and Japan. He said that when I was a kid. Couple years later and Taiwan has legalised gay marriage. The only reason Hong Kong hasn't done the same is the barbarian Chinks are in control now.

As someone who has Japanese family and have lived there for some time, all i can say is that it's definitely not normalised but they definitely already have one foot in the door.
