I really don't have much input for the trailer, except for the fact that Moxxie's dad's design is really just Moxxie but taller. I know that's pretty common in a lot of cartoons for a character's parent to look almost exactly like them, but they couldn't even get a different voice actor? They at least did that with Blitzø's dad.

I'm only one who thought it would have more interesting if the ladies were friends? They just don't have any sexual chemistry but have perfectly good friendly energy. Honestly I would rather see Veggie supporting or trying to talk Charlie out of dating a bad boy she thinks she can change rather than them go on a date.

Yeah, one of the big pet peeves of modern writing is that women can't just have a platonic friendship anymore. They HAVE to be boning either on the down-low, or out in the open, to satiate an insignificant portion of the general population.

Dunno your opinions on this guy, but he gave the most level-headed and fair criticism of Helluva Boss and the Hellaverse itself to a lesser extent I've seen yet.

Nope. Charlie and Vaggie weren't even going to be a couple originally, but Viv got peer pressured by her friends who thought they'd be cute together. Angel Dust and Vaggie were instead going to be a thing; kinda sad that they still have more chemistry in the pilot than Charlie and Vaggie, the canon couple, do. To say nothing of how so many people prefer Charlastor because their dynamic is a million times more interesting, Alastor being aroace drama aside.

It's the same with men not having platonic friendships either. Even sibling relationships are not safe given the degenerate stuff you can find. This must be what happens when decades of hedonism goes unrestrained.

Your not the only one. They have no chemistry and clearly scream "friends" whenever they were together in the pilot.

The worst part about it though is that lesbian's CAN'T ever have even minor relationship drama in modern productions or else face the twitter mob. So either viv breaks them up/causes relationship drama and gets cancelled (again) or keeps them together in a banal boring relationship where neither can really do anything relationship wise outside of it.

Its a lose lose situation and writers keep doing it to pander.

I think it might actually be funnier this way considering the setting. I kind of hope one 55%'s the other at some point. It would also be funny if they explicitly said there were no sexual minorities in Heaven. They also seem to want to include ethic diversity, so it would be funny if they accidentally created a show with white supremacist undertones.

Sure but my point is that you can tell just from the pilot how Vaggie works better with him, another gay character, than her supposed girlfriend.
