She sounds absolutely based and the only reason to seethe at her is if you're a manlet, a nigger, a K*rean, a chestlet, a fag, or literally malding. Kotaku naturally fits all of those.

When this whole drama was going on last year, I noticed an account named something like "Antifa Japan", with the Antifa flag logo, trying to spread the allegations around Japanese Twitter in Japanese. As soon as the story came out she was fired. The Antifa account was deleted.

TLDR - Koreans are bitter and retarded.

This is another thing I'd like to bring up thats happened recently. I'll have to give you a bit of backstory though. And I don't know that much because I don't know neither Korean or Japanese. You guys can decide if it's Drama or not.

Avex. The Japanese company that did much of the music for Dance Dance Revolution and Initial D. Decided several years ago to make a Japanese girl group. Now Avex decided to hire a Kpop Hip Hop Producer to organize training for the girls for 5 years. Avex decided they weren't going to be a J-pop girl group or a K-pop group. But a Global girl group. So they decided to train the girls in Western style Hip Hop and R&B in English. Probably the first attempt at going truly global out the gate from any music company in Asia.

I speculate, because Avex doesn't actually have any pull internationally with the other large music labels. Sony Music, Universal Music etc... pretty much their only option to get the largest International fanbase possible was through the South Korean Kpop industry. So they debuted the group last year through the Kpop music industry.

However. An all Japanese girl group debuting singing all English is like automatically -50 points in South Korea. Many people even today still view Japan with suspicion and distrust due to the Japanese occupation. Occasionally there are diplomatic flame ups due to comments made by celebrities about the opposing countries online. Both countries are quite nationalistic and xenophobic.

Things weren't helped further at the time when the Avex CEO was recorded.
avex.jpg

So basically after this. The Japanese Girl group (XG) was another -50 points. Nothing was happening. Maybe a little buzz internationally online? But in Japan? and Domestically? Nothing.

This all changed a year later when they brought out their latest single.

It aligned with the current Kpop trend; late 90's Hip Hop and R&B. It aligned with the current styling. It aligned with the current video editing style. It aligned with the current choreo. So it's been exploding internationally online. It's been showing up on Tik Tok. People have been doing reaction videos to it.

But theres a lot of drama I know is going on under the surface between Japan and South Korea at the moment. I hear some Japanese thinking they are the best female J-pop group ever and can beat out any K-pop group. And I hear South Koreans saying they are no way better than their K-pop groups. There is a real rivalry going on behind the scenes with the Asian music fans. Here's a notable South Korean vlogger talking of it. And no he doesn't like the girl group.

This is really all the info I have. You guys can do further work if you are interested in the drama.

I'm not interested really, but that was informative and kind of proves my point.

Didn't know there was a Japan thread. Gathering info.

This is Tanukana. One of the top Female Tekken players in the world.

So good in fact, she was encouraged to join the Mens team and participate in open tournaments. She also received sponsorships and got a bit of a makeover.

On her streams, shes quite the shit-talker. Daigo, one of the most famous fighting game players in the world, said she was the biggest shittalker out of anyone in Japan.

And for some reason during this period, she did cosplay tickle porn. (non-nude)

But last year she was cancelled, due to some people collating a list of things she's allegedly said during streams, and notifying her sponsors.

Pro Gamer Fired After Saying Men Under 5 ft 7 in 'Don't Have Human Rights' [Update]

This has basically caused her to go radio silent, and for the past year, guys are still pissed and tweeting at her angrily about being Japanese manlets.

A few days after being dropped by the entire competitive league and her sponsors, she was reached out to by a JAV director.

Tanukana then reappeared after being gone for almost a year.

Then soon after did an interview about what she said about "Men under 170cm not having human rights"

Can anyone translate?
I was thinking that this whore is not worth covering but since you're interested in, I'll translate her article on niconico dictionary
Before I start writing translation let me clearfy some stuff
The last sentence on that screencap with English translation (生きてる価値もないゴミ発言) is probably like "trash talkers who aren't even worth living"
Her sentence structure is kind of wacky on this one
Also balding is seen as symbol of aging and despised widey in Japan

谷 加奈(Tani Kana) a.k.a たぬかな(Tanukana)
Date of birth: December 21st, 1992
Born in Tokushima pref, Tokushima city

tanukana.jpg

What is she known for?
She's an esports "athlete" who plays Japanese combat game named Tekken
She trash talks a lots(please read the quoted post ) and made manlets cope and seethe by saying "all men shorter 170cm should their human rights revoked"
She's also very confident about her appearance and posts bunch of slutty photos on her social

Personality
She's a REAL GAMER GIRL. She left her boyfriend and job to play tekken and become part of the esports industry
She loves posting slutty pics on twitter and get mad when someone questions if her tits are real or not, overconfident perhaps?
Loves trash talking(check the quoted post above)
"Many of female esports athletes are being afraid of getting harrased by masses and shying away from this industry, I will make changes on this platform and make it better"

Her brilliant career as an esports athlete
I'm too lazy to translate this part, someone please do it for me and I'll copy and paste it on here

Early life
She was born in Tokushima pref, Tokushima city. Her father was a gamer and she got inspired by him and started playing videogames such as DQVI, Yoshi's island and Super Donkey Kong.
She started playing tekken at her local arcade when she was in high school and started recognized by her locals as a gamer girl.

Rise as an esports athlete
She got job on apparel shop but never stopped playing tekken and keep attending to tournaments too
And in 2016, she quit her job and became 2nd official female esports player. She joined the esports clans CYCLOPS athlete gaming and Team GRAPHT.
She was even on tv programs aired on some key stations. Thanks to her appearence and gaming skill, everything seems to be well for her until....

Manlet incident

In Febuary of 2022, her racist, homophobic, xenophobic posts on her twitter has been found and spreaded like fire. But who cares? Gamers being racists is noting new and Jap twitter isn't doing shit about that either.
Until the incident has ocurred....

On Japanese livestreaming service Mildom, she made manlets cope and seethe by saying "all men shorter 170cm should their human rights revoked".
She also said that she doesn't mind dating fatass and bald people and she actually have dated those type of people before
Despite that, his one really really made internet people mad and got her canceled. Redbull and CYCLOPS ended her contracts and she deleted her instagram and youtube account
She was also on national tv news (Japanese tv stations often talk about unimportant shits like this 24/7 instead of discussing about our country's problem, they're fucking niggers)
She went all quiet until she started streaming on twitch again in January 2023

Aftermath and the current state
On her stream in January 2023, she apologized for her misbehaving, and damage she has caused to her friends and team. And talked about how some of the people who didn't take her trash talk kindly took drastic majors to harras her
For example: Doxxing and dogpilled her. Only yelled on the phone when her mother took the phone call(those faggots got no balls to comfront real men so they only talk shit when the one who answered is a woman lmao)
She's also made it clear that she's not going to quit, quoting her dead father's last words "Don't lose against those idiots, turn this bad situation into a chance for success"

She had been working as so-pu jyou(there's a places called so-pu in Japan where you pay to get jerked off by girls) since from she got canceled.

She had offered a job from porn production company during that time period
She was being told that she would make 30000000¥ per 2 full length porn videos

This whole Dokdo shit reminds me of this retard I found:
"You fucking BAKAS!"
He's not Japanese but I NEED to share. He's perfect.
He's swallowed the Korean Kool-Aid something fierce. And going through his videos, he seems very much like an early proto-SJW.

(Anti-Christopher Columbus video etc.). Plus it turns out he's a Phish fan. I bet he smells great.

His Che Guevara poster behind his head, his long greasy dreadlocks, the pure corpulence of his physical manifestation and his absolutely horrendous, doesn't-even-try weeb American accent when speaks another language, it all melts together into one perfect image.

I mean that's 99 percent of communists around the globe for you. I mean the Koreans left wingers are the same people who fucking told the Americans and Korean government to drop pamphlets instead of bombs. Fucking retards. And of course American leftoids are as always extremely condescending and think they can tell everyone else what to do, but cries about American imperialism as well. If you wanna cry about American imperialism and think America shouldn't respect minorities and their right to self-rule, then be principled enough to stay out of our fucking businesses, but most of them are just going to revert to imperialist thinking when talking about nations like Russia, Singapore, Japan and Israel. Somehow they're usually fine with islamic states and China though. And I don't really get his stance on Dokdo. He's probably a weeb anyways, and Korea is pretty not much further left than Japan except for when they elected Moon-Jae-In, who was retarded and was still right wing by western standards.

And then there's the social democratic and LGBTQ Starbucks Crusaders type retards which we're all more than familiar with by now lmao.

Like your pfp by the way

Tbf regardless of the genre I think if you are still a great power but choose to produce your media and entertainment in other languages, it's a clear sign of commodifying culture and is definitely a form of cultural degredation. This is why globalisation sucks.

At the same time, the the Koreans are probably not citicising them over this issue lol

But the way things are going in the world right now is kinda sad

The genre is a sign of it too. J-pop usually has a very distinct sound compared to Western pop music, and Avex in particular made Eurobeat music which even though all the singers are Italian and its in English, has been described as "Eurodance in a way only the Japanese could make it." Hiring people to rip off 20 year old American R&B and K-pop (which itself is a ripoff of old R&B) and singing in English is very much cultural degredation.

Ha, I have reason to believe that group is fucking around and manipulating numbers.

Only a few days ago a user here made a thread in the tech subforum about help with what they thought was a bug on Spotify, but was clearly their account having been compromised and a bot being used to repeatedly search and boost a song's listens, and it was that song. It's just funny because I didn't recognize it at that time, but now seeing who's behind the whole thing it all suddenly makes sense.

I just thought that was a fun little crossover.

Every music company does this on various levels depending on their size. It's just a question of how big they are, how much money have have to throw at it, and how much pull they have with various platforms and outlets. You've seen the completely unknown teen American singer, scouted and trained. Then suddenly has a number 1 hit out of fucking nowhere. Appears on all the major shows. Oh they also happened to be signed to the biggest agency. What a coincidence.

Then soon after did an interview about what she said about "Men under 170cm not having human rights"

Can anyone translate?
About the interview, to sum it up, according to her, she began shit talking about men under 170cm after an uber eats delivery man started hitting on her during the stream. Like most Japanese women, she give him her LINE, and then immediately blocked him. The thing is, the uber eats dude was apparently a manlet. So when she went to vent her frustration on the streaming, the words came out. She didn't know it will become a controversy since there are only 30 viewers at the time. How she underestimated the power of the terminally online. Also, from what I gathered, she wasn't fired because of that controversy alone. The other reason she was fired is because that incident sparked people to also dig for other team members' problematic statement and harras them.

My personal opinion: I don't mind trash talking. I've done that everytime I play something competitive with friends and families, whether it's video games, board games, or sports. Trash talking when you're being viewed by unknown people on the internet though, or by bunch of people in general, is a different matter. You have to choose which shit and trash you may throw during that situations. Especially in this day and age, where information can be spread very fast and reaching places far away. There's this thing called TPO (Time, Place, Occasion), and this bitch is an idiot, even by competitive gamers' standards, for not considering that.

I'm fairly certain Tanukana worked as a janitor/cleaner in a normal public bath, not as a whore at so-pu (soap land), It's just her friend thought it was soap because Tanukana mentioned working at some bath, or something like that. Actually working at soap, or revealing such past is probably a career suicide for her.
She is getting decent views on Twitch, it seems like she bounced back to some extent.

This girl seems like just your run-of-the-mill online stream whore, but I will admit her comments were funny. Charitably I can say that she's a Danica Patrick type where she does have talent but decided it was an infinitely easier career path to flash her cleavage on the internet instead of trying to be the best in her competitive video game scene.

Expected more idol stabbings and rotting NEET goblin nests. Disappointing thread mostly featuring boring people who haven't done anything noteworthy except for that guy that killed his hellspawn because he thought he was going to kill children, dude should be an honorary saint for the farms.

Just so this post isn't all complaining; this guy's been mentioned but I don't think this video has been shared, it that recounts his cyberboolying odyssey.
