In many areas of the States, especially the southeast, if you are a warm body then you can be a substitute teacher. No degree required. Most subs in my experience just slapped paperwork that the teacher left for them to distribute on our desks or played videos to pass the time. Half the time it was relevant to what we were learning, other times it was Disney. Depended on the sub, really. Peggy Hill was actually more passionate about "teaching" than most subs I had despite being a joke about how useless most subs are.

My biggest success was getting an E3 from a credit score in the high 400s to 710 before he left the ship. It took us 3 years, but through responsible compiling and payment of debt and direct communication with his creditors, we fixed the results of his early-life stupidity.

It's not that Pissa can't, it's that Pissa won't. Especially with them supposedly being a 2 income household, with her disability combined with Joh's work pay. Many times creditors are more than willing to work with debtors to create a payment plan at reduced (sometimes even without) interest in the interest of clearing the debt owed.

They even contemplated bankruptcy at one point. That was one of the motives in divorcing. They haven't mentioned it since like August, though.

I've known people that will complain that they haven't eaten at all that day, or only ate one thing or meal, only to then rattle off all the food and soda they had consumed up to that point. Either they forgot or it "didn't count" like the soda. This is why food journaling is helpful when you're actively watching your weight. It's easy to forget what you've eaten or the portion sizes. If you're not intentionally stretching the truth.

I swear Polissa has gotten bigger over the past year. Liquid calories add up, so even if she's indeed eating only "one meal" it's probably still a sizeable one. Most of the items on her receipts are "family size," and she claims that they're gone within a day or two.

I'm acquainted with someone who uses medical marijuana. While he openly admits it helps him medically, he's just as quick to admit that the biggest drawback has been that it's also ruined his short-term memory. Although drugs affect different people differently, it wouldn't surprise me if Polissa takes enough of her "medicine" that it affects her memory.

As Chris's many delinquent debt lawsuits show, they may not be able to garnish tugboat, but companies will absolutely go after you if they want to. She's mentioned deliberately evading debt collector and repo people before.

When former President Trump revised the tax code, I believe Form 1040-EZ disappeared. Now, everyone files the same Form 1040 (except for eligible seniors who may file 1040-SR) with one to six supplemental schedules included based on what income, credits, etc. are being claimed. Whether one self-prepares or hires someone to prepare a return, a copy should always be kept should the IRS, state, or locality (as appropriate) decide to examine the return.

And in the event that you don't /have/ to, it's still better safe than sorry and costs no more than a postage stamp and envelope when complete. It gets you on record as being a compliant filer.

Also, the IRS has a record of all income reported on government forms (W-2, 1099, etc.). So, they have an idea of who should be filing a return. If one has a return with zero taxable income, it may not hurt to paper file - and there may be reasons why one may want to do so. Regardless, it's best to permanently retain a copy of the return as proof of falling below the filing threshold.

I get what you're saying, but one can only file as married or head of household (HOH) and not both on the same return as a point of clarity. Also, filing as HOH requires due diligence forms to be included with the return to substantiate eligibility for that status. Because the penalties are steep for filing as HOH when not entitled to do so, or screwing up the required due diligence, it's best to have a reputable tax pro prepare those returns.

With Polissa, however, I wouldn't be surprised if she figures she can handle her taxes by herself only to fail miserably as she does with everything else she tries her hand as we've already seen her fail at a number of adult living skills such as maintaining a home, keeping pets, budgeting money, etc.

Got spoiled in that said tax professionals keep all my shit on file and do the HOH crap for me lol
