FWIW, Grant Amato’s father and brother made her aware that Grant was lying to her about being rich and successful (and stealing money from them in the process) shortly before the murders. She was reportedly uncomfortable with what Grant had done and this did damage her “relationship” with him. Grant later made some big apology to the camwhore for being dishonest with her. However, she did continue to accept his family’s money, including on the night he murdered his parents and brother. She also never returned any of the money that Grant had given her, to his family. Make of all that what you will.

It is a crime to serve alcohol to the visibly drunk and I believe gun stores have some similar restrictions against certain sales. You definitely can't sell if they fail the background check and come up as a convicted felon/dishonorably discharged, for instance. I'm not sure if it applies to money, but knowingly accepting stolen goods is also a crime, so I guess that's where the sentiment regarding the camgirl comes from. There's already precedent for people accepting the money still bearing some responsibility in those sorts of situations, even if they're removed from whatever act produced it.
