It's practically these posts repeated over and over, but never posts proof so he's been getting swept up by jannies the moment he starts posting, I definitely remember when McPig was posting about the game early on and taking criticism but the Keffals connection really was just some schizo trying to take down the game, maybe someone got big mad in his discord server or something

It makes me want to buy Pizza Tower out of spite, even if the Keffals stuff is true.

Yes actually. Theres clothes (and possibly achievements?) that you can only get if you do certain things that you probably wont the first time through.
The "sage blue" clothing can only be obtained if you beat all the first floor levels in under an hour

Money green is for getting all the toppins before you buy the second floor boss door

PP shirt is for beating the game a second time, war camo for beating WAR first try

John shirt for resurrecting John (getting all treasures) in less than 2h 15m.

The clothes are global so you only need to unlock them for one save for them to unlock on all.

@TVBForever to me it feels more like a cartoon game than cuphead, everything has more of a flow and wackiness which meshs way better gameplay wise than cupheads static run and gun. but then again, they're both trying to replicate different styles and periods of animation, it may not be fair to compare the two.

Which is why I already made the claim that it feels like a 90s-2000s cartoon, if anything. While I appreciate Cuphead for having a more 30s to early 40s short cartoon aesthetic, Pizza Tower gives me the best memories of watching some animated shows that air on Nick, CN or Disney as a child.

To be fair, if we are talking about animation aesthetic in other video games, there's a ton of them that have the same UPA/Hanna-Barbera type limited animation (more specifically, the shows between the late-90s through early-2010s like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Fairly Oddparents, Kids Next Door, Kim Possible, Mission Hill, Clone High, Clerks Animated, etc.).

The best thing about it is that there's nothing out there quite like Pizza Tower (which of course means the market is about to be flooded with Pizza Tower clones within the next six months or so). I don't know what drugs the developers of the game were on but I want some if it means making entertainingly insane shit like this.

I also lost my shit when I discovered Mort the Chicken is an official character in the game. Out of all the failed 90's mascots that could've been granted a second chance it was Mort of all guys who got it.

I wish they would add in The Noid as the many 80s, 90s and 2000s failed mascots in the game, but Dominos still owns it. But, I don't think they would mind adding him in.

Excuse my autism for a brief minute.

For the record, this isn't even an original game. Capcom slapped on The Noid on one of their japanese only games (Kame No Ninja) and called it a day. That pizza eating segment is ass backwards on Yo-Noid, as Kame No Ninja's boss battles have you using the better weapons, with the bosses progressively getting the better weapons in later stages. In Yo-Noid, you're completely fucked with the gimped pizza count from the beginning to the end. The game also has a game genie code to get to the final level'n'boss, but it's the kind of game where you need to throw your Yo-Yo all over the fucking place in the air to find hidden power-ups and health recoveries (or in this case, hot sauce to make the other noids... puke, i guess?), otherwise you absolutely can-not beat the game in a legitimate way. That last point though is also an issue in the ninja game too.

Now back to Pizza Tower

Now tell me how Super Mario Bros. 2 is actually Doki Doki Panic. I'm being facetious, I already knew that but it is probably not really well known as Yo! Noid is somewhat obscure. I did manage to beat it many years ago, but it was a brutal undertaking that took many tries and those pizza eating contests can be RNG losses even if you know all the stupid invisible item locations... truly a crappy mechanic.
