I find the post about his "movie" to be bizarre. Nobody is watching the Hotep interview. Nobody's watching the hour-long obscure Hotep interview when the 30-second clip of him telling the audience to avoid Black people is spreading like wildfire. Who does he think he's fooling?

Try the BJS NCVS publications, specifically 2019 and before. They have some really amazing breakdowns of FBI UCR stats in the appendixes that get to be very granular. My recollection is that this statistic is true because of including assault charges within violent crime, but if you look at specific categories of violent crime, like homicide, then Asian men do commit at higher rates than black women. I could very well be wrong, so don’t take my word in this, but that is my earnest recollection.

Hard to believe Dilbert & the Simpsons came out the same year, 1989, and they're both still going. Most people would chalk them both up as quintessentially 90's, and somehow they've hung on, Dilbert less so now.

Ex-members often mention how they always exagerate anything to get more funding, and if nothing happens then they just make it up. They reinvest that money on media PR and campaign funding so much like bankman-fried they are too dangerous to take down, either because their allies will attack you relentlessly, help them out or just go medieval at you because if those scams go down then those allies go down them.

As long as this business works and keeps bringing in the money there will be people ignoring the real problems and making shit up instead, because they are getting paid.

The people trying to "cancel" this faggot are not actually reacting to what he said. They just blindly follow along with whoever is telling them to attack. It's funny that people are ever surprised when this happens and they're like "I can't believe this, what he said seemed reasonable to me." It's just a variation on the exact same thing every time.

From a marketing standpoint Scott rode the wave to making a very financially successful product. Dilbert is/was satire but very safe satire. Where Mike Judge and Matt Groening cartoons were sharp lampoonings of authority figures Dilbert was only mocking the "Pointy Haired Boss." Dilbert was the nerdy everyman, so much so that in The Drew Carey Show the titular character had a Dilbert doll in his office cubicle. I wonder how much Scott made just by having his character be a prop on a network TV show?

I wrote it right before Scott's cancelation that it might be a benefit to him, but now I'm not so sure. My gigantic nostalgia for The Dilbert Cartoon made me forget why it only had 2 seasons. Because Dilbert is just not that interesting of a property on surface level. The Dilbert cartoon is great because it basically has absurd surreal humor ala Futurama. Had it been on the network it belonged on (Fox or maybe Comedy Central) it could have had a longer run.

Since I see a lot of talk about the "blacks" here I feel like I should say this: In germany, our black people are mostly perfectly OK. Just the same as any other non-white german. So, you know, not exactly required, but not a massive detriment either.
