In the separate incident in Los Angeles, where a man was arrested with assault rifles and a reported intention to do harm to the city’s Gay Pride Parade, police have published details of the arrest.

The man, James Wesley Howell, was arrested in Santa Monica after a neighbor tipped off police. They found he had three assult rifles, high capacity magazines and ammunition.

“Additionally, officers discovered a 5 gallon bucket with chemicals capable of forming an improvised explosive device,” the Santa Monica police said.

Unlikely to be a coordinated attack, I'd guess. That would mean that two people independently plotted major public attacks against the gay community on the same day.

I cannot imagine how devastating and painful this is. EMTs and police thought there were about 20 corpses, but they searched the club's interior and found fifty...

Like Paris last December, people go out one for a seemingly good time, and they end up murdered en masse.

Parents across Florida are going to be burying their sons and daughters for the rest of June. It's heartbreaking.
