Definitely not. Ignoring fatty's previous nonsense about multiple sets, there's actually plenty of 2-3 bed 1-2 bath single story single family homes under 400k even within hendersonville to grab, assuming they can actually sell the existing place. And selling is going to be an issue since there's plenty of new construction available in the same range they're trying to sell for in addition to other places that have been up for a while.

edit: 13 ACRES? HOLY SHIT LOL, the only way that makes any sense is if Tammy wants to move Fatty out to the middle of nowhere so there's less of a chance of emergency services being able to save his ass when the next stroke hits. Unless they plan on doing the opposite of downsizing the house and moving Jr and his wife in?
They're probably trying to move "off-grid" to get away from the city a.k.a. the niggos that are going to be there front and center when society finally implodes and roving bands of atheists go door to door looking for Christians.

This is why he was all about those tower gardens and he was looking for a place that had water running through it. Seriously these idiots are acting like the end of the world is right around the corner.

13 acres though? Sounds nice if a little lonely.

I bet he insisted on being on the deed "in case you (Tammy) die before me"
Hammy probably was the one that put up the money and paid the mortgage that's why it's her home.

Highly unlikely Qarolyn will be laying out anything when the Scalfanis can just go into that great American pastime, unsolvable medical debt. Jack's no stranger to it.

Yeah Jagoff is such a tough guy he's not paying. Insurance companies have deep pockets and lawyers. What does he have other than his raging narcissism, a gimp arm, gimp leg and gimp brain? Nothing.

The best he can hope for is to arrange something with the hospital. Normally, so long as you're not a complete asshole, they are willing to reduce the bill and work with you to get the money.

Prepper Jack may be the dumbest Jack. This dumb bastard wouldn't last a week into the apocalypse. He needs a team of medics just to keep him (barely) alive on a daily basis, never mind the team of fast food workers to shovel grease down his hog maw until he dies gracelessly.

Jack has another stroke from his 12 a day Bang energy drink diet and he’s blaming it on the artificial sweetener and not the caffeine.

I've had relatives on both SSI (Basic Disability) and SSDI (Social Security Disability) SSDI is more money because it's based on what you put into Social Security through taxes, but you have to have a tax record of about 20 years to qualify for it.

But the kicker is you can't have I believe over 2,000 in savings that includes any bank accounts, bonds, stocks, property, inheritances anything SSI and SSDI are for people not only disabled but also destitute and spouses' income and assets count. So, unless Tammy divorces him he won't qualify for either.

The house is decent but the best thing about it is that Jagoff stroked out twice in it and both strokes were massive .

Fatass is seething because he shat himself after that diabolical salad he had and the nurse didn't drop whatever she was doing to come wipe him.

Jack had my hopes up for a second until I realized he was responding to Jenny.

Also, nothing opens up your eyes to the flaws of the healthcare system like taking note of the fact that Nurses are not omnipresent to attend to the whims of every landwhale that gets beached in a hospital.

He should admit his situation. There would be more dignity in that.
Jagoff lost his dignity long ago after crying like a baby on the Texas Investors Club.

No argument here. Also he can't get Door Dash that far away meaning they'll still need to drive into the city to get the latest offering from whatever fast food place out there. That and this faggot can't fire a gun. Before he might be able to work the slide as well as reload. But now? I'd be surprised if he had enough dexterity to scratch his ass.

Jagoff is dead weight at this point and if things go from bad to worse Hammy is better off leaving his disabled ass behind.

SSI doesn't require work history has income and asset limits. SSDI requires 40 credits of work history (you earn up to 4 credits per year depending on how much income you had), including half in the 10 years before the disability, but it has no income or asset limits.

Yeah, I’m sorry, but I’m not buying the idea that they’ll have insurmountable medical debt.

Tammy may have a shitty accounting degree from a defunct for profit university, but she’s still smart enough to know that Jack’s health is a financial ticking time bomb. A primo platinum health insurance plan, almost certainly cost subsidized by her employer, is a no-brainer with Jack’s health history. They’re going to incur costs from this - particularly if he needs lots of aftercare - but I’d imagine a substantial majority of the costs from the hospitalization are covered. And thanks to preexisting conditions no longer being a ground for insurance disqualification or higher rates, every other insured person in America who isn’t eating themselves to death is picking up the tab.

Social Security Disability Insurance is an entitlement based on what you paid into it, basically an insurance policy. It's not means-tested, you just have to be disabled to qualify (unable to perform substantial gainful activity) and have paid into it.

To qualify for Supplemental Security Income based on disability, you both have to be disabled and essentially in dire poverty. Tammy would really have to divorce him for him to qualify for that.

I seriously doubt he qualifies for SSDI with his nearly nonexistent work history and the fact he probably played silly buggers on his taxes too. The question then becomes whether he's actually disabled and you can be in pretty bad shape and still not legally disabled.

So if he could be a full-time Wal-Mart greeter, he wouldn't qualify.

There are also what are called listed impairments, which are specific conditions that automatically qualify you. These are generally pretty dire, like missing two limbs (just one won't necessarily do it by itself). You have to meet two lists of criteria, the so-called A criteria (which mainly just means you objectively have the condition) and the B criteria, which is the objective medical measurements you have to match to qualify.

For instance, just meeting diagnostic criteria for "chronic heart failure" is the first step, but it has to have certain measurable impact on you. This means a giant stack of papers establishing the level of heart failure, what its actual effects are, that you've been being treated or will be being treated and it is or isn't likely to improve with treatment, and most importantly that you actually compliant with treatment, which you can be certain as lawsuit insurance, any doctor seeing this fat fuck as a treating physician has noted in his file repeatedly that the corpulent bastard does not comply with treatment.

Anyway things could get really, really grim for Jackoff if he doesn't qualify for Social Security's insurance half and has to try for Supplemental Security Income. Tammy has to divorce him or they both have to go into poverty. You also can't just fraudulently transfer property over to another family member while still using it. You have to "spend down" until you're at the appropriate level of poverty.

There's also an exception for older people where you "grid out" and qualify for disability if you're unable to perform past work and have no skills that could transfer to the light or sedentary occupations you are still physically capable of doing. Unfortunately for Jackoff that starts at 55.

The dumb son of a bitch better treat Tammy and his seemingly pissed off mother-in-law well if he doesn't want to end up a 50+ year old retard in the kind of single occupancy residence he could have to spend down to to qualify for disability.

Hope he got one of those Cadillac plans when he was still making money and can keep up with it.

What's this about the mother in law?

Selling the house would make perfect sense if they were moving into a smaller, single-level house and getting ready to age in place. Taking a look at their average mobility and realizing they don't need an upstairs. This is the time to look for a 55+ community; if you're lucky, the recently-listed houses there will already have ramps and grab bars.

Moving out to an acreage as a fat lady accountant and a fat nonambulatory city boy is a bizarre decision. Jack doesn't seem interested in an adaptive environment, as though the act of putting in a roll-in shower is what will make Jesus see his shadow and decide not to heal Jack's hemiparesis. Rather than learn new strategies yourself, better to just make your family do all the work for you.

But who knows; maybe Tammy's out there making sure all the doors are wheelchair-wide. This is when you'd hope for practical advice from Tammy's mom, who's at the age where her friends' husbands start dropping.

Sorta off topic so I apologize, but how the hell is FeatureMan still alive. He eats almost as terribly as Jack.
I'd say it's likely because he was a starving actor for many years and has never been overweight, he doesn't eat massive amounts, even considering his extremely tall frame, he insists on having a salad with every meal (even if it's just cabbage, tomato and ketchup) and more importantly he's an extremely chill and sanguine person from what we see which has to contribute a lot to his circulatory health.

Also, not to be pithy, but I wonder if the fact he's never been married might have something to do with it.

What's this about the mother in law?
Unless somehow, a minor accounting job by a semi-competent fatass like Tammy is worthy of a full Cadillac healthcare plan in Hickland, Tennessee, she just has to be subsidizing this bullshit lifestyle they have somehow. Jack certainly isn't.
