We all know that if BBJ passes within the next week, month, or year, Chins will blame it on FFG, even though if it weren't for FFG she'd be dead now. AND! she would have lived out her life without painful toenails in her pads, painful ear infections, and everything else Chins neglected.
BBJ was an inconvenient loose end to Chantal. Anything that cost time or money not resulting in the immediate death of BBJ was considered pointless. All Chantal wanted were super chats while fake crying over her pet's demise.
I've never gotten to say this but, I CALLED IT! At least the ear part! I saw that video and I knew, because I had cats that would scratch their ears and twitch their head just like BBJ.

If she dies of natural causes next week or the vet says she needs to be put down next month, at least her last days were in a comfortable, peaceful, clean environment with the most egregious of her pains taken care of and appropriate food being offered. As long as she's being put to sleep for ethical reasons and not for the convenience of a Guntdemon chasing brown dick, I for one am at peace with it.
Yeah, and the thing is, so much is left up to the discretion of the people actually stamping the passport that it's really not worth it to speculate. I know for a fact that both border agents and visa-issuers have a LOT of power in these situations. Apply for a one year work visa? Sure, no problem. Wanna renew it for another year? Mmmm, I think we'll give you nine months for literally no reason, so either alter your contract or come back to renew it for another year later on (at which point we'll extend you for three years even though you didn't ask for it). Generally if the benefits outweigh the risk, it can be done. Depending on the grade of murmur, she'll need an echo, chest radiographs and bloodwork, which has been done. Even pulling most of the teeth can be therapeutic and most cats eat just fine after. I can't imagine the pain BBJ has been in.

It's got nothing to do with animal abuse. It's that she was caught, with receipts. Even if she'd taken BBJ to the vet, we know Chantal wouldn't have been willing to pay for tests, let alone treatment. She'd have taken her for one purpose only.

Suicide alone would have solved the moving problem for Peetz. That he considered murder/suicide suggests a desire to punish Chantal and stop her from getting what she wants.
Or maybe he was counting on Chantal to kill him, perhaps as a proxy for BBJ. MamaGunt does everything else for her sped son, she should take the responsibility of tying the noose and kicking away the chair, too. It's only fair.
