In Japan, women are only allowed by law to work as titty dancers, callgirls and secretaries, so the idea of a "female protagonist" is clearly shocking and horrifying to him.

Not surprising, it's by Platinum. They're damn good at making balls-to-the-walls action games. I'm really looking forward to it.
New Nier: Automata trailer, and holy cow does this game look gorgeous. Beautiful designs, fantastic music, fast-paced combat...boy, I wish they had played this at the Sony conference yesterday, but this looks really excellent.
I've never been a big LoZ fan, but this game looks good. The only real complaint I have about it is the fact that it's on the Wii-U, I absolutely hate the wii-mote gimmick. Other than that though, yeah, this one looks damn good.
Not sure if this is the right thread, but wasn't there some rumor about the next Zelda game having somebody else as the protagonist instead of Link? I don't mean Linkle, I mean like Sheik or possibly Ganon and how he rose to power.

Enjoy your special birthday Fractured But Whole.Huh, just realized that the new South Park game comes out on my birthday.
CRASH BANDICOOT REMASTER HYPE TRAIN
GET THE FUCK IN
They better not fuck this up. I love the entire trilogy. But Crash Bandicoot: Warped is without a doubt, my favorite game ever made. (and this is coming from someone who is a die hard Nintendo fan since the day he first picked up a controller at 4 years old)
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed that the previously hinted sequel to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon turned out to be an almost unrelated platformer - I expected the new game to be more like the previous one. Maybe I'll change my mind after I play it, but I don't have high expectations.Trials of the Blood Dragon looks interesting.
Christ almighty, the amount of entitled whiny butthurt over no female Link.
Of course, this doesn't change the fact that I'mprobablydefinitely going to buy it still, because I'm a total Mass Effect whore.
He only hits me because I make him angry. He loves me really. After ME3, I'd say you're less of a whore and more of a battered spouse.
So I've been trying to find information on Resident Evil 7 as it's peaked my interest, despite the comparisons to Amnesia there will be guns but nothing "heavy" like in the more recent Resident Evil games. Also herbs will be back and supposedly no quick-time events in the game also. Another little tidbit:
"The game is set after Resident Evil 6 "in modern day", and features all-new characters. Some of the horror occurs within an abandoned house."
It sounds like they're going for a soft reboot of the franchise.
That makes me wonder whether or not it'll affect the remakes of 2 (and possibly 3).So I've been trying to find information on Resident Evil 7 as it's peaked my interest, despite the comparisons to Amnesia there will be guns but nothing "heavy" like in the more recent Resident Evil games. So am I. I seem to recall that the original plan was to have Kratos fight and kill off other pantheons and gods (specifically norse and egyptian) but that idea got scrapped for one reason of another. I guess with this new game they might be going with a similar idea. Maybe not with killing other gods, but instead training various legendary heroes (the rumors going around that the boy is possibly Sigurd).Gotta admit, that's quite a change for God of War. I'll be interested to see if they can make me care about Kratos as a character.
