I had an idea: what if there was a killer whose power depended entirely on gens? At 5 gens he's weak but 1 gen or less he goes into Hulk mode and can instant down and shit? No idea what the power would be but it would change up the meta and punish survivors for gen rushing.

That's basically what Freddy's perks were supposed to be. It'd never actually happen though because survivors are retarded niggers who have no map awareness and constantly 3 gen themselves and cry.

Well yeah, but ideally it would be a good version of Freddy's perks but they're not perks... That's all I'm saying. I have absolutely no confidence in Behavior executing such an idea and do it well.

@Cuban Pete @Leather Boots I have been waiting for the rebuttal, sirs.

I guess it wasn't the NFT thing after all: Funko plans on tossing out $30 million worth of pops. So it was probably that.
It's so weird, Funko Pop fans are huge consoomers, they could have just turned them into blind bags or have a marketing contest where they pay postage or whatever.

In theory I like it but there's been a bit of an issue lately I think with Behaviour creating killers who benefit from 3 generator situations (Which in my opinion makes for the most boring games imaginable).

Maybe it's just how I like to play killer but I'd much prefer more anti-loop killers or killers who have unique mechanics like that rumoured Alien chapter.

Fredward's perks are outdated and 4.7.0 might as well killed him entirely.

He moves survivor speeds when placing a small snare + all the other nerfs.

I'd want the coom artist who can block windows & dropped pallets with his wax.

Not gonna happen since bhvr can't code well.

They are never gonna make a killer to benefit from 3 gen strategies or those whose powers are dependent on gens (which is a really unbalanced idea). Remember the 3 Gen Doctor builds years ago people who use that would be considered holding the game hostage if it went on for too long? People who bitch even more about it.

In my experience there's two groups of killer mains. Maybe three but I'll get to that:

Group one: think they know everything but play by the survivor rulebook and give excuses to the devs because they DM'd a dev or spoke to a dev once on Discord.

Group two: knowledgeable but realistic about the situation. These are the kind people who will help you but also set appropriate expectations I.E. they're not going to tell you about how Myers is just an EZ win or whatever. Gives everyone some shit but especially the devs and survivor mains.

Group three: they don't really play killer but they insist they do. These are the kind of people who will argue infinitely over survivor BS while insisting they play killer but... They only play killer once a night and if there's a Daily.

If I had to make a guess then this dude would belong in the 3rd group.
Well the video features his ugly mug streaming himself playing The Knight so I wouldn't put him on the 3rd category. Probably the 1st group cause he says gen slowdown perks like overcharge and call of brine are "unfun."

And he says The Knight is A tier in the comments, which just goes to show this guy is mid-low mmr killer and plays noobs all the time. Who else would argue dead zoning survivors is too OP? I guess its not a skill issue afterall.

I had a sort of similar idea for a Fire Up rework. Basically just make it dynamic.

If 2 survivors are working on gens you start to gain tokens, 3 survivors working on gens you gain them rapidly, 4 survivors working on gens you immediately go to 5 tokens. Then you start slowly losing tokens if 0-1 survivors are working on gens.

Then just make that baseline for every killer. If a SWF squad decides to gen rush then they have to deal with powering you up.

There's a few killers who can do it really well, the Demogorgan for example can use his Lifeguard Whistle (Automatic killer instinct when a survivor is near a portal) and Upside Down Resin (40% long to seal portal) and just put them next to generators and in a three gen situation survivors are screwed.

I think he's an idiot but he definitely plays killer since he's high prestige on pyramid head if you check his stream he's also known for calling people racist for using the Claudette face on Leatherface.

I probably played him at least once...

Edit: the newly-added cancer spot to Shelter Woods is pretty bad.

It spawns pretty close to the shack but that could be RNG? If you notice, there's a filler pallet in between the 2 spots.

Only upside is that they didn't add more pallets. I counted 14 pallets altogether with 2 being in the cancer spot and they're mind game-able.

This spot is pretty BS:

To the immediate left...

So more bullshit that will fuck over 110% movement speed killers and benefits survivors with Lithe and Balanced. Hag players might like the map a little more because the cancer spot provides them a good choke point to setup traps. Shelter Woods was pretty bad for Hag because there weren't a lot of choke points aside from shack and pallets/jungle gyms that could easily be called out.

The spot isn't that bad but it begs the question "Why?" Why add a cancer spot to a map that was fine? The other new killers didn't get a new map or had a previous map altered for them so why start now? Who fucking knows like always.

From the new Patch Notes

Triggered scream audio

We have done a consistency pass on the following perks and addons which trigger audio feedback when the position of a Survivor is revealed:

Deathbound, Dragon's Grip, Eruption, Hex: Face the Darkness, Infectious Fright, Iron Maiden, Make Your Choice, Iridescent Family Crest, Incensed Ointment, Healing Poultice, Greasy Black Lens.

When a Survivor screams to reveal their location, the scream will be a 3d scream (instead of a 2d/mapwide scream), with a 19m max range, and a loud noise sfx is triggered.
BHVR just nerfed screaming for no reason like always

Hey, I have a simple solution to the problem: allow players to adjust individual audio levels. Done.

I would immediately greatly lower the chase music, turn up the volume on survivor footsteps and completely mute screams or at least screams on the hook. That's the #1 reason I hit them on the hook aside from the survivor just being a dick. I hate listening to the scream every single time.

Edit: new killer is still ass. It doesn't matter if you put up a drone and it turns off the red stain because survivors still have LOS and if that fails they can have one of their butt-buddies call you out. The only benefit to using drones is to use the purple add-on that shows auras. And that's just pathetic.

Turns out I'm a retard and BHVR worded it weirdly I went in game to test it and it now when someone screams within 19m you get 3d audio when its past that you get a loud noise notification.
What I thought they were doing was making so screaming only worked at 19m.

Glad I'm not the only one who misread it. But yeah, what a weird choice to make. They just had to adjust screams? Now, did they do this just to further nerf Eruption or they had to do this because of how their spaghetti code worked? WHO KNOWS!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Reminder: new chapter is out. It has been called Tools of Disappointment.

Edit: so yeah, chapter came out today? I thought Wednesday from now on? I don't even know anymore...
Tools of Disapointment - The Mid Merchant.

I like how even streamers had trouble pretending to be having fun while using her.

I managed to get her adapt the first time using her (Using her purple add-ons for aura and 5% hinder) but I bet she’ll be an absolute nightmare to use against a competent SWF.

Leverage seems like it might be an interesting perk to use with Sloppy Butcher, not particularly strong but at least it‘s passive.
