How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I read his list so you don't have to:

All in all, I just thought of this while reading it (0:56-1:01 especially):
The Prince of Egypt? The movie about Moses? I love that film, but I really don't see Bob or his ilk enjoying it, what with it being religious and all.
I'm guessing Bob made this list according to how well these films did with critics and the box office, rather than his personal opinion.

Well, I'm sure none of us would suspect Bob would try to hype up the new Ghostbusters (which, from the trailers, looks about as funny as having your dick mangled by a honey badger); right?

EDIT:

Um, no. Just no. Anyone saying this is a fucking moron, and probably liked the Star Wars prequeles better, too. A tweet in his article.

Really, aside from Mario 3 being more important than 9/11, dude's clearly got no personal opinion. He has to regurgitate others instead.

I distinctly remember people saying Batman V. Supermen were getting positive early review too and we know how well that turned out.

Here's my prediction - it'll be the #1 box office draw this Friday, mostly on account that most of the rest of the new movies are indie fare movies. if it makes bank, people will say it is a new day in Hollywood; if it doesn't make bank, people are wrong and they should feel bed for not liking giant advertisements for Sony and Coke disguised as women's rights.

Following week, Star Trek: new Movie Now featuring More Gay People comes out and the media can finally stop trying to spin anything good about the Ghostbusters dumpster fire.

And in either which way, Chipman will continue to be a smug little toad, sitting in auntie's basement in his Mario pajamas and involuntarily caressing his neckfat while sinking into fringe irrelevancy.

It amazes me how hell-bent these losers are on getting people to love the movie.
i pray ghostbusters doesn't make it's money back
if it does
the "if you don't like it, your a bigot" excuse will be used more
imagine:
"Adam Sandler's newest film is the best thing i've ever seen said anyone who isn't a jew hating nazi"
"Didn't like Kanye West's newest album? it's because you're a racist cracker."
"I played LOZ and Ganon defeated me... why this makes nintendo sexist and tr.ansphobic"

Every movie, pretty much, makes its money back. The home market is where they do, not usually in theatres.

That's really not the issue, though. Those holding the purse strings don't want to JUST make their money back. They don't even want a profit, period. They want a substantial profit.

So, that said, will Ghostbusters make its money? Yeah. I'd be willing to bet it does. I'm almost positive it will, eventually. Now, will it make enough profit to justify it remaining as a popular franchise? There is the several million dollar question.

The thing is, if this film cost $150 million (not including the ad budget, which probably added another $50 million to the total cost), it'll still be considered a bomb if it doesn't make at least $600 million. The last Spider-man film cost about $300 million, and despite making $700 million, Sony declared it a flop. Plans for a third film and spin-offs for the Sinister Six and Venom were canned, and Sony decided it was more profitable to loan out the rights to Marvel.

It'll be sure to get it's money back, but breaking $600 mil? Harold Ramis has a better chance of rising back from the grave and choking Paul Feig in his sleep.

If it doesn't do well domestically then they'll count on the overseas market.
