2. Super Show? Really? I would have figured it'd be of Tanuki Suit Mario and not the DiC versions.

Insomuch as Mario can even have "canon," Bob will ever be asshurt that the U.S. version with Princess Toadstool and King Koopa is not "real." In his book/text walkthrough/autobiography/cry for help, Bob no-shit has an existential crisis when Yoshi's Island reveals that Mario was "really" from the Mushroom Kingdom all along and not a native of Brooklyn.

Didn't he also chimp out whenever someone would say "Mario is dead" back when he was in school?

Or am I just blending together his and Chris's life stories together due to the sheer force of his autism?

Frankly, I could give or take the origin. Bob's taking the lore of a video game/cartoon way too seriously. Then again, I wouldn't expect less from him.

Wouldn't surprise me.

It looks like tile more than carpet.

Here's Bob being torn apart :story:style over the Captain America statue:

They're building a statue of a super Nazi?

In all seriousness, this is just really really sad... all this time and he's still obsessed with Mario.

Which is hilarious in its own way, because Mario has no lore outside of individual game series. Part of his whole appeal is that he can be whoever and whatever the fuck Nintendo wants him to be. He's been in competitive brawlers, children's spelling lessons, race cars, Final Fantasy-style RPGs, platformers, party games, whatever. Shigeru Miyomoto himself is renowned for his hatred of autistic lore in video games.

So Bob's writing clickbait articles now, which I feel is something he ragged on before:

I read his list so you don't have to:

15. The Road to El Dorado
14. Starchaser: The Legend of Orin
13. Wizards
12. The Prince of Egypt
11. Anastasia
10. Flight of Dragons
9. Charlotte's Web
8. Ferngully: The Last Rainforest
7. Fire & Ice
6. An American Tail
5. All Dogs Go to Heaven
4. The Phantom Tollbooth
3. The Last Unicorn
2. The Secret of NIMH
1. The Iron Giant
All in all, I just thought of this while reading it (0:56-1:01 especially):

I accidentally came across that list online and didn't realize it was by Bob. I thought some kid had sent Bob a list they made.
For a movie critic, his writing is shit. He says the same thing over and over again. He has very little knowledge of movie history. He's also a shitty critic and provides no analysis of any movie on the list.
I'm really surprised anyone employs him based on that. It's embarrassingly bad.
