Yeah the normies I know will just bring up stuff in convo because they heard it on the news over the years.

Did you hear Trump is being investigated for being in league with Putin?
Did you hear Trump is being investigated for corruption?
Did you hear Trump is being impeached?
Did you hear Trump was arrested?

That's literally all they know. Most of them don't even want to hear the details. Or if you do bring it up they'll be like "That doesn't sound right why would they do that?"

And you're just like "welp, if this is the average person, we're fucked"

I take it that the plan is to hold "muh 34 felonies" over Trump throughout the primaries and try to hand it to one of the establishment goons or DeSantis(if he completely sells out). If he maintains a lead up to primary voting time they'll attempt to the use the felonies to disqualify him from appearing on ballots. If he manages to trudge through all of that(he most likely will), they'll hold the charges right up until the election or simply use a NYC jury to convict him of a few charges and cause a constitutional crisis during the home stretch of the general election.

Gonna be a fun year and a half.

Pretty much. Loads of Never Trumpers will be banging on the drum like crazy that you can't run a guy being prosecuted and "muh civility" "muh standards" "muh dignity" and they likely will push DeSantis. Or worse: some straight up RINO because DeSantis is still "too controversial". I do not put it past RINOs to be that naive/malicious.

Everyone keeps saying that the charges are a stretch but remember Trump is being tried in NYC by a judge that has already has a anti-Trump history.

So in reality the verdict is a fore gone conclusion, they will find him guilty. The judge on the case is the very same one to over see the Trump tax fraud case so anyone who thinks he'll be impartial is nuts. The jury will constist of New Yorkers who have been fed a constant diet of Orange Man Bad for the last 8 years so again...no chance of an actual impartial trial.

Trump will be railroaded no matter the evidence present.

The real question comes if Trump is re-elected PotUS what then? Will they schedule the trial right in the middle of the election run up so Trump is stuck in court and not able to campaign? How will the people view that?

I mean we know how the MSM will spin it but it's one thing to see the NY Post saying "Yes Trump can't campaign because of a Democratic actor but this is a good thing!" but it's another matter entirely when it comes to non-pozzed people.

Some interesting days ahead for sure.

Not allowed to. Been told that they don't mind me looking at the Farms on work hours, but explicitly been told to not mention things from my state. It's an abundance of caution thing, we do handle confidential and secret materials so avoiding talking about stuff in Wisconsin means no chance of accidentally spilling the goods.

Hopefully the Chinese fleet build up is to stop the US from interfering in a national dispute within Taiwan, rather than an invasion force. But it's difficult to say what will happen if China suffers a large economic recession or Xi gets dementia

Taiwan is pretty much China by now. Hell, even their second largest state owned airline is called China Airlines. Whenever I buy fasteners in bulk, the Taiwan made ones say "made in Taiwan/China."
