Evaxephon's gone and taken to reddit asking what the 'public perception of the game is like right now.'
https://www.reddit.com/r/yandere_si...hat_are_your_biggest_concerns_about_the_game/

Instead of taking it as valid criticism, it looks more like he's promoting a circlejerk about him and he's just trying to deflect anything people say. Plus he's almost certainly lying through his teeth to make himself look better:

Honestly, nobody is supposed to know that my streams exist. My streams are meant to be private gatherings for me and a handful of my closest friends. It's kind of concerning that you're even aware of that stream's existence. It sort of feels like an invasion of privacy.
What a bitch. He uses a public streaming platform and complains that people know about it.
Well, here's my roadmap:

January 1st, 2017: Have all core game mechanics implemented. Have 1 rival fully implemented.

January 2017 ~ April 2017: Refine the gameplay as much as possible, fix all critical bugs, achieve 60 FPS, officially evolve from "debug sandbox" to "playable demo" that represents the final game.

April 2nd, 2017: Launch Kickstarter, ask for enough money to hire professionals to develop professional-quality assets for Yandere Simulator. Stretch Goal: Raise enough money to hire at least one programmer who is far more experienced and skilled than I am.

April 2017 ~ April 2018: Implement all rival girls. (Hopefully, each girl will only take about 1 month to implement.)

April 2018 ~ January 2019: Implement all other gameplay modes (1980s Mode, Endless Mode, Custom Mode).

January 2019 ~ April 2019: Fix bugs, refine the game as much as possible.

April 2019: Launch the game.
Apparently he's talked about this before but at least we can compare this to what actually happens.

He won't follow that roadmap at all, with the current development, I won't be surprised when he chimps out and drops everything. Much to my dislike, this game is no more "Yandere Simulator" , it's "Edgy Easter egg Simulator"
And he said how he will hire a skilled programmer after the kickstarter, why at that time? why not now? Hiring a programmer then is a complete waste of time, considering how all his coding will need to be replaced with something that is not complete spaghetti.

Can't wait to hear his excuses on why none of that happens. This game hasn't moved past the Alpha stage in 2 fucking years; the thought of him having all the core game mechanics that he constantly adds and removes on a whim be implemented by January is laughable.

Still, you can just feel the fear he has about his true EvaXephon identity getting revealed in those responses of his. He knows that once people start seeing him as Eva and not YanDev it's all over.

I decided to sacrifice a bit of my soul/sanity and check the prices on "love dolls" and the high quality ones run about 2.5k USD on average. How long has he been raking in 5g's worth of shekels? Because he could absolutely turn in to one of those people who have a room full of these creepy fuck toys with the money he's been making.

I know I'm late, but I just can't get over how Jack said we're at war with him, that shit is fucking hilarious.

Jack is the kind of doe eyed, up-and-coming lolcalf that I needed to see say that, it brightened an otherwise shitty day, though I'm sure he didn't make such a spergtastically bold statement intending to do that.

If you're lurking here, Boog, I just wanna say thank you for the lulz.

Druelbozo left, which means he is not paying any volunteers, pocketing all 5k of the patreon money.
I like how he can outright admit this and his fans won't even bat an eyelash at it. Blind devotion isn't something to be admired, but I must admit that I'm impressed with the Yandere Simulator fanbases' ability to remain undeterred even when they're being shoveled shit by the only real "dev" on the project.

the fact he's also serious about it honestly really scary. Doesn't he live with his parents still? Imagine what their reaction would be seeing their house full of creepy anime sex dolls.
Also on the topic of reddit, he recently commented that he's only ever had one paid volunteer

On top of the fact that according to the wiki he's had more than 50 volunteers, thirty of whom are active, only paying one is frankly disgraceful. Plus, Druelbozo left, which means he is not paying any volunteers, pocketing all 5k of the patreon money.
According to Druel on one of his streams, Alex barely payed him anything, he was living off of comissions by fans, which is why there are so many hairstyles.
Good thing he jumped ship.

He literally posted about his stream on the yanderesim blog. Multiple times.

Gotta love how he thinks that things he does and says on the internet will somehow be private and impossible to find. I mean, he must know about the dirt people like us have on him. I think what he's trying to pull there is a "these aren't the droids you're looking for" to convince his fans and casual observers that his streams were super private or didn't happen.

You simply can't pull that off online. You can only do it in real life, and only then if you're a good or convincing liar (which he isn't).

Also fucking :story: @ that "Invasion of privacy" line. Some random people simply watching a stream of yours isn't an invasion of privacy, dude. I know it seems that way since you grew up on the internet Alex, but that doesn't make it so.

I think he's buying into that 'less than 60FPS is means the game is shit' rhetoric regardless of what type of game it is.
I can't fault him for claiming to want to get the game running at a smooth framerate.

What I can fault him for is making these claims and having nothing to show for it after 2 fucking years of easter eggs and insubstantial updates. If he can't even get the game to consistently run above 30fps he can kiss his PC audience goodbye...

Or just kiss that animu blowup doll he's gonna get instead.

I feel like the most elegant and quickest way to pull EvaXephon out of his scam business is by calling his parents. Just make sure, he doesn't pick up the phone. ;(

Makes me kinda wonder though, what kind of people they are. I mean, there surely must be a reason this guy is the way it is. It's the like the whole socialisation procedure of growing up, learning dos and don'ts didn't really take effect on him or simply wore off. How sad...

Spend less time writing code, spend more time writing tweets? I'm sorry, I strongly disagree. I should spend the majority of my time developing the game, and should spend the absolute bare minimum amount of time on social media.

Whenever I'm not interacting, it's because I'm busy making the game better. If I'm writing posts on Reddit, I'm wasting time that I could have spent adding cool new features to the game. (Today is obviously an exception, because there has been a lot of drama lately, and I needed to clear things up.)

Thanks for your kind words, though.

so bare minimum is doing 10 hour long twitch stream complaining to your audience about what needs to be done for the game? Do rants like these normally happen during his live streams?
