Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

any system can and will be abused by someone, sure. but with shit like this, it's not as simple as just declaring things without proper documentation. trying to defraud the government and getting caught has pretty shitty consequences, like the loss of one's license or one's ability to even be paid by medicare.
Yeah that's why nobody has ever tried to defraud the government. Having non-mainstream opinions on covid has also led to doctors losing one's license, therefore one may surmise that many doctors are skeptical about the mainstream attitude but choose not to show it.

Observe how you instantly went from "hospitals don't get paid extra for covid" to "hospitals get paid extra for covid and it's a good thing"

Fox News personalities admitted, in text messages, they knew what they were reporting was bullshit.
Okay then quote it. Also, whose ChatGPT instance are you? "Write a general rebuttal in the style of a Twitter vax fiend. Reference FOX, Tucker Carlson, /pol/, and accuse me of being low-IQ sock puppet."

Lol I am not that old
"I'm only 55, I'm still young like you hwippersnappers, I still got 10 years before social security kicks in!"
I can't imagine being terminally online and mad like you seem to be.
Dude you're literally on this site every single day, you post 8 pages worth of shit in a month :story:

I mean his account has been around since 2013 but good to know I wasn't the only person who thought HHH was someone's AI project LMAO

show me where, please?

consider the following: treatment for covid is expensive and the only people covered by this program are the uninsured and people covered under medicare. hospitals need to get paid in order to stay open. inb4 "they're lying about the diagnoses!" i mean there needs to be documentation and shit, they can't just declare someone to have covid.

This is gonna be hard for your pea-brain to understand, but I don't think the government should be able to force vaccines, either.

I do find that hard to believe you BIBLE THUMPING BOOMER FASCIST, but props for at least pretending to have a shred of sanity when cornered on the topic. I think it's pretty pointless for people to try and debate whether anyone should get these jabs with someone like you, they'd have better luck trying to chew through a steel sawblade. If we just agree no one will be forced, then we can say "i'm just not gonna get it bro just not going to lol" and that's the end of that. Let's test a couple additional things though.

You say you think the government should not be able to force vaccines, however, you are in favor of companies firing people that do not take the COVID vaccine. Am I correct?

Do you think it's crazy or unreasonable for people to distrust government and/or large pharmaceutical companies? Do you understand that for many people, they see these entities the same way that you see the THEOCRATIC FASCIST BOOMERS? If the government was run by THEOCRATIC FASCIST BOOMERS, would you still trust it?

I know that second one requires applying theory of mind which you almost certainly lack, so I'm not getting my hopes up, but at least I can say I tried.

Yeah that's why nobody has ever tried to defraud the government. Having non-mainstream opinions on covid has also led to doctors losing one's license, therefore one may surmise that many doctors are skeptical about the mainstream attitude but choose not to show it.

Anyone that defrauded the government over COVID will never be prosecuted because in the course of that prosecution the government would have to admit that people defrauded it over COVID diagnoses, thus admitting that COVID was in fact over-diagnosed in order to get government money. This is currently regarded as a dangerous misinformation conspiracy theory, so the government is not going to ever engage in legal action which would confirm it as true. As far as whether it's possible to defraud the government or whether anyone has ever gotten away with it, well....

They can admit it when it comes to these PPP loans, but surely this would be impossible with any other big dollar spending programs related to COVID, right?

Anyways, this is really kind of a moot point, because the fact is that if COVID really was the end of humanity greatest plague of all time blah blah blah that the government said it was, dealing with some fraudulent diagnoses here or there would not really be anything to get upset about. The bigger issue is that the claimed threat of COVID was false from the start so all of the extreme bullshit done in the name of that was therefore unjustified, even if no one had ever been able to take advantage of any of it to defraud the government for money.

It's always wild to watch them shift their perception of reality in the blink of an eye. As soon as the narrative changes to something else, they appear to legitimately believe that the first narrative never existed at all. We have truly always been at war with Eastasia.

Wow, you're even more retarded than I thought. I gave you links of them admitting it and then told you exactly what it was. You are retarded even by die-hard Republican simpleton standards.

And yes, it's obvious you're a sock, dude. You signed up for this site a week ago just to throw a tantrum in the vaccine thread because people listen to medical professionals over Tucker Carlson and Alex Jones when it comes to healthcare information.

Yes. Companies should be able to fire someone for not getting a vaccine. I know this is going to be tough for your simpleton brain to understand, but companies don't want their employees to become sick, miss time, and infect other employees of theirs. Companies can already already fire you for most reasons they want, including vaccination status. You could be fired for wearing the wrong color socks.

I trust the opinion of the vast majority of medical professionals over professional grifters like Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones and Robert Malone. I know you right-wingers love your grifters, though, which explains how common megachurches are in the bible belt.

where are you getting that i said hospitals don't get paid extra for covid. like how are you extrapolating that information from this post?
when you linked this article
I suppose it's possible that you were only fact-checking against the idea that hospitals get more money for Covid-19 deaths, not for Covid-19 diagnoses. Were you already aware that hospitals do get paid more for diagnosing?

No you gave me a link to a bunch of text messages, none of which contained them admitting to lying on air, which is why you are unable to provide an actual quote. ChatGPT write me another empty rebuttal accusing me of being a sock who only gets information from Alex Jones and FOX.

EDIT: aaaaah fuck accidentally double-posted again. Sry mods, will NOT happen a third time

you can just copy paste this message onto your last one in editing, the quote should carry over. Works for me when I want to quote something in addition to one of my already made posts.

goalpost moved.

sorry, i didn't show where i got that information from: https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-...-case-numbers-to-take-advantage-idUSKBN22I2KR
It is true that a section of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (or the CARES Act) calls for higher compensation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the care of patients with a primary or secondary diagnosis of COVID-19. Contrary to what the posts claim, however, the measure is found in Section 3710, not 4409, and the increase is 20%, not 15%. It appears that the content’s author confused the version of the bill that went through the Senate on March 21 ( here ) with the final House version ( here ), which became public law on March 27.
The posts’ claim that the payment increase applies “every time a hospital admits, discharges, or loses a patient to Covid-19” is false. The 20% weighted factor increase applies only to Medicare patients and those without health insurance. It does not apply to patients with other forms of health insurance, like Medicaid or private insurance.
inb4 "OMG IT'S NOT 15% IT'S 20% THAT'S WORSE REEEE" point is, yeah, they get paid more, because, if you read further into the article, it mentions how conditions are "weighted" by how complicated they are to treat. covid, being complicated to treat, was weighted in such a way where hospitals received higher compensation.

Saying "only made 20% more for covid patients" is misleading. The stats in the US News article -- $5000 for general pneumonia, $13000 for covid pneumonia, $39000 for a ventilator -- are backed up by at least one other mainstream deboonkster.

I've laid out the logic for you, retard. Again, I know you have crippling autism and a low IQ, which makes following logic for you difficult.

They admitted, in text messages, they knew the election was not stolen and Trump was lying. However, they reported that the election was stolen anyway. That is a lie. Ask your case worker to define what a "lie" is to you next time you meet with her to go over your group home situation.

Now, again, whose sock are you? I find it hard to believe that even an eternally ass-blasted anti-vax simpleton would sign up for this site just to throw a tantrum that people listen to medical professionals over grifters

yeah, because those can be hard to treat. like i'm not understanding where you're trying to go here.

Brother, I'm looking at the link you posted right now and none of these text messages say either of those things. If you're refusing to actually quote what text message you're referring to from some weird internet argument complex, at least tell me who said it. ChatGPT, write me a response that does not actually contain a quote or a name, just a bunch of generic insults

My point is that there was an increased payout for covid diagnoses and therefore financial incentive for hospitals to make covid diagnoses. Why does covid-induced pneumonia require 2.6x the amount of resources to treat than non-covid pneumonia?

It sure does. It's hilarious how you religious nuts always just bury your head in the sand and deny reality when reality shows you how wrong you are. You've been shown that your favorite news source is lying to you, yet you still blindly believe it. Like I said, you evangelicals love your grifters

So you are only in favor of soft fascism rather than overt fascism, to no one's surprise. Thanks for clearing that up. The government shouldn't be able to literally shoot you if you won't take the science juice, but if it makes you unemployable because the government is telling everyone it should, wellllll ehhhhh I mean that is the free market right? There goes your phony attempt at pretending to care about individual rights.

If we are going to make the excuse of "well it might affect productivity," I should point out that black people objectively score worse on a wide range of metrics that are objectively linked to productivity (IQ, education, odds of being criminal, etc.). Let's not sit here and pretend this has anything to do with protecting corporate profits, that's such a flimsy deflection. People like yourself are always more than willing to block employers from firing people over rights that you actually believe people should have, such as the right to be treated equally regardless of race. The reality is you don't care about anyone's right to refuse a vaccine, so you are quite happy to see them thrown out of society for it.

I trust the opinion of the vast majority of medical professionals over professional grifters like Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones and Robert Malone. I know you right-wingers love your grifters, though, which explains how common megachurches are in the bible belt.

Q, me: "Do you understand that some people don't trust the people that you trust, and they trust other people instead? What if the government was being controlled by people you didn't trust, instead of ones that you do?"

A, you: "What do you mean? I trust the people that I trust, and I don't trust those other people."

This confirms my suspicion about lacking theory of mind. It reminds me of this about research on sub-90 IQs:

Q: "How would you have felt yesterday evening if you didn't eat breakfast or lunch?"
A: "What do you mean? I did eat breakfast and lunch."
Q: "Yes, but if you had not, how would you have felt?"
A: "Why are you saying that? I just told you that I did."

I know people like to theorize that leftists and woketards are the way they are in part because they genuinely do not grasp that other viewpoints exist, but it's still a bit shocking to see it play out almost word for word "in the wild," so to speak.
