Nah, they don't need to do that. They can run their own ID verification app, which you use with other services, and tie that to your account. Facebook already tried to get into ID verification a fair few years back. No reason why they wouldn't try again.Thinking it over some more, the biggest irony for these kinds of bills is that companies like Facebook and Google will only be further encouraged to allow adult content on their websites just so they can have a reason to tie real world ID to your account.
