As for why the "joke" wasn't even funny: a zombie is a cannibalistic monster raised by African witchcraft. Jesus Christ was a real person who chose to die for our sins and eternally lives to guide people who chose to believe on Him. And that's not a typo. That's what it says in the Bible. I feel like this is a better demonstration of just how mentally-stunted his whales are than it is of Phil's stupidity. I could understand a practicing Christian finding it an outrage if they saw it for the first time ten years ago, but today? And this guy was so upset that he's bringing it up a day later and trying to engage in an email conversation with Phil over it? A stupid comment like this is something everyone here has come to expect out of DSP, no one remarked on it the day he said it. I think Dave TRIED to have a relationship with his son, but eventually, he gave up. If I remember correctly, it was his mom that talked to him about about the ten year plan. He didn't mention his dad, it was "My mom and I talked about what am I going to do..." and once he got the money to get on the payment plan...and the INSTANT he got that money, it was back home to Renton to blow it on burgers and gacha.

This is a weird, ongoing trend. I think it's symptomatic of the fact that the people that remain who are unironically fans of Phil are either autistic or outright mentally handicapped. These people have witnessed him say all manner of stupid things, watched him openly abuse other viewers, and have, especially if they watched the interview, watched him get caught red handed in his scamming lies. But then he'll say something that wouldn't normally phase anyone and they'll lose their minds and suddenly see through the fog.

RobOnWheels had a front row seat to all of this for years, and Phil finally just begged the wrong way and suddenly everything clicked for him. When Phil talked about having a 'curated' audience on Sidescrollers, this is what he meant - a handful of people that are incapable of critical thought unless he says their trigger word.

I like his reaction though. They're too stupid to ever challenge him so when they do he has no idea how to handle it and just insults them. As stupid as this is, he could have explained this without being condescending but didn't even hesitate. I think it's pretty dependent on where you live. I never had an outdoor Easter egg hunt because the city i lived in as a kid would usually still be in the negatives Celsius in late march/early april.

To add to the zombie Jesus discussion: the catholic church's official stance on Jesus is that he was both 100% human and 100% divine. I'll be harsh for a moment. If you own a car and can't get yourself to a doctor's appointment because your wife's part time job changed her part time shift, you probably deserve to die. There are people that can't afford a vehicle of their own, have 2 jobs and no SO that get to appointments.
He was just lazy and scared and cheap. He could have driven Kat to work, and gone to his appointment. Or. She could have called in for her part time job. This is also worth noting because we're again playing games with the schedule and crediting it to Kat's days off as influencing his schedule. She works part time. We know this. 1. I, as a mod of the DSP forum, will firmly state that if you're giving Phil money to troll him, KF disavows that action. You opting to get scammed is your own fault and I would never encourage you to do that.
