RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

So will we get something similar to "JK Rowling = Hitler" with Moist on Twatter for a while?
Asking since I'm fairly sure that a good portion of the RWBY stans also follow either Breadtube and/or popular normie Youtube like Moist, and that type seeing him shitting over their favorite western anime will def try to do some gay ops type of shit.

After the last episode, you think the cat tried to possess Jaune, Alyx and Louis?
The biggest theory I’ve seen going around is that the cat was trying to break Jaune the way Ruby and Neo broke, but despite Jaune’s sanity taking a hit, his spirt/will never actually gave up and so the Cat couldn’t possess him.

That’s what I heard too, which makes sense. Despite his self-doubt, Jaune has lots of willpower.

But I think he did try to possess Alyx or Lewis. The way the cat was looking at Alyx in Jaune’s flashback was concerning.

If this happens it only solidifies Jaune as RWBY's actual main character. Which means that is almost certainly the case.

So apparently moistcritikal had not nice things to say about RWBY and now twitter is mad at him.

I find it hilarious people still think Monty planned all this out and RT totally followed it to the letter.
People once posed the question of was RVB planned out entirely from the start to Burnie. I think this was 10 seasons into RVB and Burnies response was simply "DId I have 10 years of stories planned out in my head when I started? No."

I have no idea why these turbo dipshits insist all of RWBY was planned from the start. I doubt Monty wrote down "They fall into the void and end up in Alice in Wonderland world." I'd bet he maybe had up to Beacon Academy falling written down and that's about it. Not to mention, if you check out creator commentaries from the first seasons of RWBY when Monty was still alive, they talked all the time about how he threw shit in last minute and added stuff to canon just because he thought it was cool.

Plus I kinda hate they STILL use Monty being dead as a shield from critcism. Just because you're dead doesn't mean the shit you did didn't suck, my guy.

And we already pointed out how Yang/Blake DEFINITELY wasn’t planned from the start.

Remember when JelloApocalypse's video was like "RT made Yang and Bland girlfriends without talking at all to appease the shippers."? That was after fucking V6 lmao.
On a side note, I really don't like the black-white lens that people view the Kdin situation with. I don't approve of how RT treated the guy, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a faggot that goes on racial tirades. 💅
No one cares about this shit, mostly since they failed to develop the buttload of characters they had when they could. It's basically impossible to stay invested.
This reminds me of those kids who defend YandereDev by going all "Nuh uh! It's not true because he said so!"
Just some tweets regarding the lack of trigger warnings

This show's badly written, but my god, if you're too much of a baby to see a show with sanitized le bad things in it, just watch Paw Patrol or something.
Yikes. That’s a lot of words.

Whatever you do, don't let her know that Saudi Arabia exists. Real women have gone through horrible things in history, and still do today, especially in some parts of the world, but your anime waifus suffering? Horrendous!
Again, this show sucks, but Jesus Christ, everyone's such a pussy, we can't even have art these days.
There is something undeniably pretentious and fetishistic about the way RWBY (and Gen Lock season 2, though that was a different team) have handled suicide. Fuck, Penny's assisted suicide even came loaded with a heavy handed penis metaphor.

It's all dramatic and sad and poignant and beautiful, which is exactly what you're not supposed to do. You can say it's coddling but 13 Reasons Why did the same sort of shit and it's directly responsible for a massive boost in teen suicides so if ever there was a topic to be sensitive about in media then suicide would be it.
Conspiracy Theory: Rooster Teeth is actually working for the Canadian government to create propaganda.
Some quote retweets from steelplateeheart post. And some other tweets from these terminally online people.View attachment 5027293View attachment 5027263View attachment 5027266
Grow the fuck up. If you can't handle any piece of media you enjoy receiving criticism, then it's quite possible that you're incompatible with the real world. When you go to school or work a job, your personal work will be criticized. That's a much more personal level than a show you enjoy. Your work is like your baby, and people will most definitely tear into something you've worked hard to create. In personal relationships, you will get criticized by the people that love you the most, because they want you to become better. If you follow a particular religion, there are plenty of people who will hate you for it, and some would be willing to kill you for it. And that's a very personal thing, how you feel about the purpose of life, and what happens after you die. The list goes on.
So lets say that I wanted to watch RWBY. If I watch it on an official source such as Crunchyroll, am I going to miss anything compared to when the seasons first aired? I know that Rooster Teeth has a history of purging their old podcast content that offends modern progressive sensibilities, but I don't know whether such censorship has touched RWBY and their other animated shows.
RWBY is pretty inoffensive, but I've seen chimpouts over the lack of black trannies fighting the patriarchy or some shit. I also remember seeing some dyke on the subreddit complaining about how two of the main characters wear dresses, and how the Beacon students laughed at Jaune when he showed up to the dance wearing a dress. The only other "offensive" thing I can think of is team NDGO being referred to as "ladies" by Port and Neptune in V3. (Some guy in Britain literally got fired for that, lmfao). Unless of course you count terrible writing as offensive, then in that case, it's pretty fuckin offensive.

Monty was less organized than the average person mind you. Genuinely believing that anyone is capable of planning ten years worth of content for a story without having to make any major changes just shows that they have no clue how storytelling or writing works. Any half-decent English teacher will tell you that you have to absolutely rewrite, and in some cases, totally slaughter your own work to make it presentable.

-Kerry calls navigating the cat being evil difficult. He says that through the design and voice acting, people would notice something was off, but he's happy with how things turned out in terms of delaying the reveal and making it rewarding. (Personally, I got Disney Twist Villain vibes).

-Eddy mentions that CRWBY was cool with the audience watching and not feeling like something's off, but then Jaune pointed out what the cat is really like, and making it feel like things end there. But he also adds that one of the things that CRWBY wanted to was to have something to tie to the events happening on Remnant with the cat revealing that he was made by the Brother Gods.

-Kerry says that V9 isn't a filler season. He says there's a lot of connections (I'm assuming to the main world) and there's more coming.

-Lindsay says in regards to Ruby having a low point, "Rock Bottom has a basement." She says that Ruby relied on somebody like the cat and realizing that it's evil is the ultimate betrayal and sees this as a reflection on Ruby needing that she has to trust herself and not others.

-Eddy says that the tea party was an early idea, and that in order to have an Alice in Wonderland world, you need a mad tea party and Roman/Neo play the role of The Mad Hatter. He also calls the beating scenes tough to watch.

-Kerry says that there's a lot of nightmarish things in this episodes. He also calls this episode a tone shift.

-Lindsay says watching Little being stomped broke her heart. Kerry says that a lot was put into making things not so grotesque. He also says that there's some justification since the season was so whimsical and there was a need to show the consequences of the way the world operates. Eddy says the episode is "very mean". The host (I forget his name) says that this is the grim portion of the fairy tale as opposed to "the Disney portion".

Hey just passing by this thread to say i spotted the sanest rwby fans in the wild

People should know by now that Penguinz0 basically can't get cancelled, because he doesn't care about the opinions of 400lb feminists.
Granted, I'm not above wanting people I don't like to chop off their own fingers and eat them, but said people are typically very racist/a future child abuser/sex pest. I have standards.™️

Not a bad episode by my shit metrics, but I don't like the "Ruby has to trust herself" line. Ruby trusting herself is what got everyone into Ever After in the first place.
