I wonder if Shame is aware that disability can be re-evaluated at any time if new evidence supports such. If it is determined that it was granted fraudulently it is a federal crime, and even if it was just granted improperly, you literally have to pay back every single cent they gave you?

Gene could be considered a progressive. After all he was seemingly in favor of no racism or sexism. And later on on TNG he did have some episodes that seemingly would fit in well with progressive ideology.
