Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Nah, Gideon definitely staying dead. By modern standards, he is far worse than all the other villains in Star Wars for the sole reason that he spewed pro life rhetoric when his clones were killed.
That's why Gideon was so good as an antagonist. He respects other cultures, but only because of what they could do for him. He mourns the loss of the clones, but only because they're him. I could see him coming back all twisted-looking like Snoke, but if he doesn't it wasn't a bad way to go out.

I'm laughing my ass off at all the people who thought the armorer lady was going to turn traitor last week. This is modern Disney; they don't have the guts to turn a female authority figure on the heroes' side into a baddie. Especially since they spent the whole season establishing a woman as the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
That cunt is an ex death watch terrorist and no more fit to be Mandalore than a sleepy hutt. Concepts like Honor mean nothing to them.

It all felt very family friendly and sanitized, being Disney I shouldn't be surprised.

So Din is a "bad guy with a heart of gold" working for the Alliance. It all just seems so.....Mickey mouse.

My fault for thinking Favreau would buck the system but lolol at Doomcock sperging for 3 years that Favreau was going to write the Disney sequels out of existence.

I am amazed they just barely pulled out before irreversiblely putting in more sequel shit. Man they are gonna have to commit to fucking up with or killing off the first order . (Guess what they'll do lol)

Im kicking my self for not saving the link but I remember hearing that the Ashoka show is setting up thrawn to come back from his space whale Isekai adventures with an army of dark Jedi, night sisters and aliens (Vong)?

There was a rumor going around a couple of months ago that the new movie was going to be Rey teaming up with Grogu, Chewbacca, and some new character. It may be bullshit, but it does seem plausible.
in which case Grogu's first words are going to be "Send me back to the Jedi Temple so that Kylo Ren can kill me"

A Disney Wars instalment that focuses on the many diverse races of the Star Wars galaxy as opposed to human diversity hires? Doubtful.

So I guess this entire season of Mando was pointless filler with some hook for the next season that won't mean anything. I don't know for sure. I didn't watch it.
It was mostly about the Mandos coming together and taking back Mandalore, but there was a bunch of New Republic fluff too (which may or may not have been repurposed from that cancelled show if you believe the theories). Things simply weren't as tightly paced or engaging as previous seasons for whatever reasons.

Maybe Dave was too busy playing with his Ahsoka action figures to fully commit and John couldn't be bothered reigning him in this time.

Some YouTuber noticed and made a video of one of the town folk extras in the Bubba Fatt season finale battle. Where the extra with the same clothes and blaster got "killed" in about four or five separate scenes in the fight.
No one's ever really gone

Now that season 3 is over I want it to be known that whoever is responsible for this character needs to be blacklisted from every creative process known to man.

every action scene or moment this creature opens its mouth I have a visceral reaction of frustration and anger to the retardation I just witnessed.

I like her ironically since she makes EFAP so confused with her arbitrary rules and plot armor tactics.

I love how Disney just conditioned an entire generation to fall in love with a group that were canonically introduced as terrorists. All these warrior Mando factions outside of Fenn Rau and his Protectors were all once part of Death Watch, and according to the new canon, the first time we see them in TCW, they were terrorists.

Well, a lot of villains have attributes that are virtues in the real world. It's kinda funny how modern writers who want you to hate something unintentionally make it look better than the good guys, but they'd hardly be the first, as the Imperium of Man in Warhammer 40K and Rorschach from Watchmen can attest.

Moff Gideon, as you said, recognized his clones as living, sapient beings and was really cheesed off when Din killed them all.

Many of Palpatine's servants are patriots willing to fight and die for their Empire, even when said Empire is at its nadir; that's what you call patriotism.

Palpatine and Tarkin created a public works program that employed countless trillions of people, as Stormtroopers, TIE Fighter Pilots, Imperial Army grunts, factory workers, among other things, allowing wealth to be transferred from the state to the public in the form of wages paid for doing jobs, as opposed to the Republic who just left your average dork who isn't in bed with the Senate or local rulers/corporations to rot. Especially in the new canon, where they specifically fired the clones from the army so that there'd be jobs for tax-paying citizens. That's what you call generosity.

Running off the last part, creating a large military means that the Empire put an end to the countless internal conflicts that the Jedi typically referee, while at the same time, kneecaping corporations and preventing them from amassing large, private armies like the way the Jedi and the Republic allowed them to do. It goes to show responsibility on the Empire's part, that they don't just let rich assholes run around with their private armadas and armies or wage private wars with each other as if they owned the place. Not only that, but some parts of the Empire cracked down on criminal activities more so than the Republic did, as evidenced by Han Solo booting his cargo of spice when he saw an Imperial cruiser coming his way.

The ISB pays strict attention to detail and promotes officers based on merit, which we see in Andor where Dedra Meero gets promoted when she proves herself to be more interested in the matters of state compared to her office rival. Same goes for the military, where guys like Vader space privileged brats like Admiral Ozzel and replace them with competent officers like Captain Piett, while taking the advice of competent leaders like General Veers. This shows good judgement; you promote people based on what they can do and how eager they are to serve, not because they have political or familial connections.

Palpatine really had a good thing going. If he, Vader and Tarkin didn't go full autismo with slaughtering dissidents or using the Death Star, and just played ball with the Imperial Senate for the rest of their days, they'd be set for life and be remembered as heroes. Or in Palpatine's case, he'd keep on living while body-hopping between clone bodies and he'd still have his reputation as a benevolent dictator.

Also anyone else realize that Disney ripped off the Thrawn Duology whereby Thrawn had a hidden clone underneath the capital of his empire of the Hand for which was being grown?
They basically took that concept and added a "what-if" scenario where said clone is Force-sensitive.

I know this isn’t Star Wars related since it’s mostly Lucasfilm related, but does anyone know where I can watch Young Indiana Jones at? Paramount owns that series surprisingly and I move been curious to watch it for a long time.

This has to be the final Mando episode right? Or at least the start of a much needed break? Where could they really take the story now, especially since I have to assume they'll save the Remnant drama for the bastardization of the Thrawn Trilogy.

I guess the one positive thing I have to say is that I did think Gideon's armor was a neat design, and if this was pre Last Jedi it would have probably sold very well.

The damage done by the "Holdo Manuever" was so extreme they had to take the time to explain why the heroes can't just do that again. Fucking cucks think it was a good explanation too.
and then they still show that someone pulled it off again over endor in the ending montage of TROS :story:

You made me remember that they made Stacey fucking Abrahms president of Earth after she lost her gubernatorial campaign.

Say what you will about Disney Wars but even the Lizzo and Jack Black cameos weren't as cringe as this shit.
holy fucking shit I didn't even knew that, my cringe levels hitting containment breach...
