They're running on Google services and Cloudflare, they aren't an IP2 streamer with only their front teeth to lose, it's hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. It's unfortunate it has to be this way but I don't think mod approval = 'reddit'

If they have to go back to YouTube TTS will be even more censored. As much as I wish they were on stable hardware of their own like the Farms and could do whatever they wanted, that's just not the situation but hopefully Sam gets that sorted. Obviously it should've been done the right way from the start, not here to make excuses for Sam, just speculating on their reasoning.

Moderation to avoid spoilers is silly because they're always on camera. If the contestants don't want stuff in the open they should go to the bathroom or some other areas where it's hard for the camera to see.
