Yeah, dudes are considering just leaving this guy alone considering he's never appeared on camera with James or anything AVGN related (yet). I thought maybe the guy was a contractor but he works with Screen Wave and based out of PA. I wonder if they're just playing a game of musical chairs regarding who gets to be the editor?

I would leave if I wasn't paid shit.
There were post saying that Bimmy seems like nice guy. He really has to be dumbest fuck, clueless, to not see that people are paid nothing or less and don't give a shit. Or just well-masking scumbag.

I don't know anymore. There's no indication that he's an asshole to fans or whatever but by the same token this is a man who makes 40+ minute videos congratulating himself and pushing this narrative that he does everything behind the scenes when we know that isn't true. It's disingenuous and paints a bad picture of James that makes you wonder "Okay, he's lying about this for no other reason than clout what else could he be lying about?" I'd be pretty pissed off if I made major contributions to a show like this, get paid chicken scratch, and this guy is running around declaring he did everything.

He does everything, except Monster Madness, when didn't do anything, but read lines copied from other sources. It was surreal when Bimmy shared "secrets of the trade" of film-making 101. Those scripts excerpts were really bad. I mean formatting, font used and so on. Sloppy work IMO.

I'm still combing through the video looking for goofs and lies. 3:00 minutes in James goes on to say that he played the Genesis version of EWJ as a kid even though he has said before (most notably in the Castlevania overview series and when he reviewed the Game Gear Sanic games) that he didn't have a Genesis as a child. He had a NES and a SNES. He possibly had an N64 as a kid but I'm not 100% sure on that now.

So another lie. He could have just said he played the SNES version as a child which would have been more than believable but throw in a line "We're playing the Genesis version this time because NIGGERS!" Or something like that.

Are we to believe that James magically travelled back in time so he could have a Sega Genesis as a child to play Earthworm Jim? I hope someone got fired for that blunder!

I can't remember what clips I saw that brought me to the conclusion, but I think the last game James played on his own, for fun, was Ocarina of Time. So I think he did have an N64, though he didn't branch out much with it. I know he had never played Banjo-Kazooie, either.

Plus in one of his very early videos in either 2006 or 2007, he admitted he never owned a Saturn, but even then it was the most niche Sega console when it was out, especially in the first E3 where Sega shat their bed by dumping their Saturns on sale during that same day while Sony humiliated them in the process with the first PlayStation's official price.

I'm leaning towards he did but like you said he didn't play much games because he would have been about 17/18. But ya' know, everything is questionable now.
