Isn't strep terrifyingly tough? I remember as a kid listening to a radio drama where a character died of strep throat. I was always under the assumption it was incredibly powerful if you didn't control it quickly enough.

It's kinda like the flu. It's usually not a big deal, it can be tough for some and a cakewalk for others, and if you have certain conditions/are old, it can be deadly. It's a good idea to get it checked out though because if there are complications (not common) they can vary from kidney damage to Scarlet fever.
