They are impromptu narcissistic rants for him to vent and talk to his closest parasocials.Countdown to when Nick is struggling to make the 12 shows or whatever it is that's required by his contract for May and starts off by blaming Legal Vices for missing a show.
BTW, Nick was talking about how he struggled to make the requirement last month, and by my count he ended up having 13 shows total in April. I think a monthly requirement of 12 shows, as was speculated here, is probably on the mark.
I had a horrible thought when I was watching the clips from two nights ago. The Locals poststreams have turned into Nick's equivalent of DSP's prestreams. Same designated time to rant or complain about random shit, same focus on whining about meta shit like "One of my videos got flagged and it's total bullshit!" or whatever that I can't imagine any actual fan wanting to watch.
Not that he puts too much effort into the researching of actual shows, but based off the 2-3 I watched in the last month, it is somehow even more 'seat-of-your-pants' word vomit at the camera.
Isn't the point of a barrister to take care of the time sink if they cannot remove all the stress? As Nick has just started to find out, an ongoing civil lawsuit is a great way to lose both alot of free time and alot of money.

His old Discord had a ShowResearch suggestion channel that he ignored completely.
1. Do research (read: work)
2. Actually cover topics his people are interested in.
Is this a law school conditioning that lawyers fail to ponder 'jury nullification' in their commentary? I know that in a trial, they cannot argue that offcially, but as an outside observer it should be fine, right? Shouldn't be an ethical violation.Nick's legal argument is generally either:
Both of them are wrong in that "Jury should apply the law even if it is bad and only in the narrow judge defined scope"! Bullshit, it has been the ancient right of juries to assert all the facts of the case since at least 1649 (John Liburne) and jurors should be privy to lawyers arguing the law (You can tell who's arguing in bad faith). Obviously this doesn't work when you have borderline retards who can't think critically.
- "The government is incompetent, so therefore we should not trust them do anything" (Anarchy may not be preferable to tyranny)
- "Maximum freedums, don't tell me what to fucking do!" (Except when it comes to himself and degenerates)
They nail the 'you do not want to go to court' angle, but seem to spend so much time analysing the legal standard to make predictions that have about as much accuracy as a magic 8 ball when it is left to a jury.
One final comment on the broken promises, but I have seen much of thr newer crowd playing down those who ask about things as recent as the 5k gift being late and express dissatisfaction. There is, in general, an effort to shield Nick from actual criticism by those newer viewers who are unaffected to the same degree by his toxicity.
The almost wholesale turn over in his audience tells me that Nick is not adding value to their lives, but rather detracting. It just eventually reaches a point where they are fed up. That does not seem like a healthy cycle for relationships (even parasocial ones).
You SHOULD maintain some long-term relations in your life, but Nick really seems incapable of it even with internet acquantancies. Who does he have in his life that he has known for more than 20 years that he still has relationships with?
Discount family because of kids and obligations, but only Drexel comes to mind. Nick seems like a 'user' to me who cannot maintain healthy mutual relationships.
