I thought that many of these places will only drive tards a few times a month for them to run errands...so he might have to wait until June before he can get transportation, again...or he might have done something to get his "outside" privileges revoked...like thrown a temper-tantrum in the place or something.
I am honestly intrigued at what day-to-day life is for these sorts of people in these facilities as it seems whatever the place allows them to do can also be revoked for bad behavior at any time, and Chris has never really had to deal with people telling him "no" until recently.

There's a chance that the TOR savvy users don't need me to tell this, but internet nerds in general have a skewed view of how violent the Western world irl really is, so I probably do need to share this.

There is something that almost every extremely online person doesn't realize that needs to be said: the fact that in general, in the West, people in real life aren't as violent and confrontational as you'd think, even towards well known pariahs.
I believe that the following two factors - years of looking at Internet comment sections filled to the brim with Internet Tough Guys who talk about how violent they'd be if they met you in real life, along with consuming media where violence is portrayed as more frequent and more fun than it actually is for the sake of not being too boring to cons00m - has led those without much IRL experience to think that you're more likely to have violence done upon you for social violations.
This is also exacerbated by peoples' natural social anxiety, which itself is also exacerbated by the social conditions of the modern West. A lot of people think they have a larger risk of getting shot/stabbed/mugged/raped/punched/etc if they walk around at night than what the real risks actually are. It's like someone whose only exposure to the beach is watching scary movies about sharks, they will have this idea that beaches are much more dangerous than what reality will demonstrate.
Vast majority of those who pass by Chris Chan in the past month won't recognize him, and the majority of the ones who do aren't feral enough to straight up assault him because most Westerners are averse to committing violence. In fact, you can go out regularly to bars and clubs, hit on girls who are near their boyfriends, and I guarantee you there won't be violence unless you take the initiative to throw the first punch. There may be typical wannabe tough guy big talk, but the phenomenon of being sucker punched by those who aren't crazed hobos or criminal youths part of a subculture that encourages wanton violence, is more rare than many think. People who recognize Chris Chan are mainly not crazed hobos or criminal youths.
Now, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris has been subject to a few passive aggressive drive-by comments from a safe distance like "MOTHERFUCKER!" and "How's your girlfriend doing these days?". He probably has experienced that, but as far as I know it hasn't been recorded yet. And it's quite possible that most of the people doing those comments were too scared of confrontation to say them loud enough for him to hear.
This is why the only media (as far as I know) of Chris, post-release, are pics (maybe some short vids?) taken inconspicuously. Eventually you will see videos of people verbally accosting him, but videos of straight up unprovoked assaults are unlikely because the real world ain't like Grand Theft Auto.

I have a friend who used to work at a 'tard home similar to Gateway and she confirmed that is exactly how these places work, When the home gets the monthly tugboat they give an allowance to the patient. They have a daily curfew where (most) patients are allowed to leave and provide basic transportation for medical visits and (depending on the home) basic shopping.
Each patient is treated on a case-by case basis depending on how high functioning they are and IF they follow the rules. The really mental ones don't get an allowance and aren't allowed to leave at all. If they break the rules (miss curfew, try to bring in contraband, etc.) then they can get their privileges temporarily suspended.
The allowance usually isn't that much (there is no way Chris bought a switch unless he had gotten money from another source) and Chris could have easily blown all his money in one day. Also, he is so lazy that the thought of walking more than a few blocks just to get out probably doesn't interest him. Not to mention the "The Chase" going on with enterprising weens in the area.

Plus remember that until August Chris is facing criminal charges. That puts him on even stricter rules than the tards living there cause it beats being homeless.
Also just a side note on the last known photo of Chris to date. I love how you can see some guy holding hands with a girl I presume is his girlfriend. it's like even now after everything else reality mocks Chris by surrounding him with happy couples who've found love and he blew his one chance at a young girl who actually kinda liked him because he couldn't keep his sexual deviant behavior in check.
Also they look likey they just stepped outta the 90s with the guys flannel shirt and the girls over sized blue sweater. it almost has a lost tike traveler photo feel to it.

The medallion is a different one than he went to jail with. Where'd it come from? I doubt caretakers would let him back into 14BC to get it (even if supervised and without Barb being there). I'm thinking either an orbiter sent it to him, or a caretaker was sent into 14BC to collect a few personal items.
