Wait until you get to that one N-corp fight. I remember banging my head against that wall with base identities until I figured out how to use defense skills, ego passives and sinner passives properly. Heathcliff was the MVP in that one. It was basically like this.

S2 changes are out.
identity max level: 35
uptying tier 4 (which costs thread as well as shards) (This releases alongside railway 2)
Another pity system, you get a guaranteed banner pull after 200 failed pulls.

So mirror dungeons have been completely revamped
you now pay for rewards instead of entry just like the railroad.

you now pick your whole team at the start just like chicken dungeon, there is no more leveling in dungeon.
you gain dungeon currency from nodes now which you can spend for heals/ego.
you no longer have to memorize every fucking ego event.
you keep all ego resources just like railroad

Yeah I think I'll just grind till I have a team at level 25, having 10+ level difference makes you constantly fail in clashes so you can't even think about using EGO.

Since those aren't season tied and they'll add the pity system in the second season I would have suggested to save your resources. I am waiting for that Rodya ID to drop. I need her.
 
Finally finished the third chapter, just used base ids once I discovered you are turbo fucked if you use burn or slash on the boss. Also feel ashamed to whoring out money to bump the season pass up to Fluid Sac Faust since god damn it sounds good. Hopefully the new season won't fuck up the ranking and that I'll manage to pull good ids and egos on other characters.

Overall while the game plot is interesting and fun, I think the combat needs to be reworked to be less dependent on the first few turns. Low morale causing shit coin toss basically makes a bad first turn cascade into endless failed clashes.

Alright, well since we are in maintenance when I usually grind, Imma post my limbus schizo theory.

I think LC is working directly underneath the head in order to recreate the seeds of light project.
Dante keeps bringing up all the resources and personnel they have access to, and we know they have access to multiple singularities.

The sinner's rooms change to reflect their personality. Kinda like what happens in Keter in Lob Corp.

These hallways also look alot like Gebura, Chesed, and Hokma. Which are incidentally also connected on the tree of life.
In Dante's notes, he talks about how when a sinner distorts, its their EGO taking over them. This is more akin to floor resonances from the library than a normal distortion.

Just a guess but I bet that Dante isnt actually resurrecting anyone. I think he's just pulling in duplicates from a mirror world.
Also the Golden Bough is probably what creates the Qliphoth Containment. I also think they are pieces of Carmen.

Of fucking course the game is immediately broken on Android. At least I still managed to do the daylies on Steam. Also managed to pull Mariachi Sinclair on the free pull of the day, haven't understood if he is better or worse than default Sinclair.

I don't like having 50% of my ego shards confiscated, especially when it was done to the crates as well. Don't get the point.

The game is wildly generous with shards through crates, with just the BP if you're doing dailies and weeklies you're almost able to afford every ID without pulls.

In my opinion. Damage wise, Mariachi Sinclair is low tier. I would even say that the standard ID deals more. But his support passive is really good.

If anyone struggles with the new content. The N corp IDs Specially, Faust, Don and Sinclair are god like when combined with Rodya and Meursault Rosespanner IDs. Tremor is actually a viable mechanic with the Rodya ID. I'll put them in my bus if anyone needs one of those IDs.

Its to encourage you to exchange shit in season rather than just horde. Not that it really matters since with MD 2 you'll easily be able to grind for everyone.

I can imagine the season pass giving you shitload of ego shards once you complete it.

Also anyone has links to the prequel web comic in English (or all the other expanded universe material)? I tried searching for it and just got Fate shit.

Chapter 1 - 11, webcomic. Chapter 12 - 20, webnovel, problems between PM and artist, health and contract termination.
C16-20 are machine translation because PM is already busy working on Limbus.

Honestly both of these seem pretty strong,
Rosespanner Gregor is honestly the support Rupture teams needed and pairs well with LCCB Ishmael, even if he dosen't have the best colors, and even with his skill three being reliant on Charge even +1~3 extra rupture count basically means a dead enemy, espically if that first coin staggers.

One thing to note with gregor is that as we get better way for Sinners to give each other's charge, his skill three will get stronger, even if it's only +1~3 charge at a time.

Sunshower Heath seems like another negative coin ID, I don't think his damage will be as good as Nclair think since he'll have to jump through more hoops to do damage, but being able to burst Tremor, apply Rupture, apply Sinking, Paralyse and fragile on the next turn is pretty strong. Combined with his passive that makes him deal and resist more damage, and support passive that works great with Nclair I have to say he's pretty strong. He also has probably the best defensive skill in the game with the paralysis reducing the value of his negative coins and giving him the Sinking he wants for his passive.

Being able to generate Wrath, Envy, Gloom, and Sloth is also pretty good for ego building with Faust's Fluid Sack, Don's telepole, Merusalt's base EGO, and Ishmael's base EGO being all EGOs he provides more than 1 Sin for. and all of those are very good EGO.

This is just very good all around, make human style fights more controllable and rewards better players for playing well, and let's worse players have another system to help them make up the difference, as well as buffing ammo characters who don't need that many slots.

Im definitely rolling on heath but man he is going to corrode like a motherfucker since unlike n clair he doesnt have an easy way to regain sanity.

Heath's colors fit incredibly well on a Fluid Sack team, something like this:
  1. L Corp Faust: 3 Lust, 2 Gloom, 1 Envy
  2. Sun Shower Heath: 3 Envy, 2 Gloom, 1 Sloth, * Wrath
  3. K clan Rodion: 3 Gloom, 2 Lust, 1 Pride
  4. TT Hong Lu: 3 Envy, 2 Lust, 1 Gluttony
  5. RB Ryoshu: 3 Wrath, 2 Envy, 1 Lust
so you have, 8 Lust, 9 Envy, 7 Gloom, 3* Wrath, and 1 Pride/Gluttony
This gives Faust the resources she needs for Fluid sack and Hex Nail. Hong Lu and Heath gets the Envy and Lust they need for Body Sack and Roseate desire.

With the order above we get the Lust, Envy, and Gloom in the order we'll need them, and Heath can use his Defensive Skill and Body Sack EGO to set himself up and for a bit of sustain. Although we do have TT Hong Lu and RB Ryoshu they are mainly here for matching colors and high damage, but since they aren't providing the Gloom we'll need they end but lower in the team order.

I forgot to add this to my but the team order determines the order in which Sinners will get new slots, this is especially good for sinners that have a setup and payoff skills, as well as sinners like L Corp Faust who have literally all of the Sins you want to fuel the EGO you want. This also helps L Corp Faust since her skill 2 gives speed, as well as all Heath's since Body Sack gives speed so they'll always be going first making this a pretty predictable comp.
