I believe that if ChatGPT and other similar programs aren't salted with obvious tell tale signs of AI creation and bad data, they should be on purpose. We can't afford to have this kind of AI fuckery this early in it's maturation or maybe ever.

They actually are, though, even if it isn't on purpose (yet). Ask them to do anything remotely complicated and it becomes fairly obvious they don't actually understand anything and aren't actually intelligent. It's not like Eliza where you can tell in a couple lines that this obviously isn't intelligent but is just a babblebot, but really in a few pages you should realize you're reading the output of an AI if you're at all familiar with them.

Of course, legal filings are often so fucking retarded that an AI could pass if you didn't check out what it was saying.

Ralph is prematurely celebrating because the order makes it very clear that the only reason it wasn't granted (at this point) is that it requires a separate motion.

Also contempt is generally graduated unless it's incredibly severe. The first is a slap on the wrist, more or less what Ralph got. If he fucks up again, the other $1,000 come back and more gets added. If he keeps fucking up, the numbers keep going up. If it's clear that the monetary penalties are not going to result in compliance, he is incarcerated, and a bench warrant issued if he goes fugitive.

Yes. He got a semi-pass because the Court sees that this is penny-ante dumb shit and issued a(nother) warning. However, Ralph being Ralph, he misconstrues "tolerance for fucking idiocy" as "fuck yeah, golden!".

Idk and idc how much of a loser Vickers is (maybe a pretty big one...); pursuing this is worth it. Ethan will just keep going and going, and abusing the legal system until he owes more than he can ever pay. So keep pushing, Ralph.

The Court was being kind to stay 2/3 of the contempt fees; that will come back when he he does it again (and he will). As for the $6k legal fees, the Court essentially issued an invitation for Vickers just to file the motion for it.

also, just as a reminder, there are still multiple cases pending ...

- when the ragepig filed to amend the visitation order with faith, while claiming that iziah was a pedophile (which was immediately dismissed), he also filed an order to show cause against mr. vickers regarding their no-contact order, while claiming that mr. vickers calling his dumb dead mama a dumb dead whore was a violation. that filing has yet to be accepted by the court, though it's been almost three months.

- faith filed another order to show cause for the ragepig's many violations of the dvro. her original case was dismissed because she failed to provide evidence at the trial (she instead rested her case, claiming that her declaration spoke for itself, while failing to submit the contents of her declaration as evidence). she cannot file the same order to show cause again, but the ragepig continued to provide her with enough content for another filing, which will allow her to reintroduce the prior violations in another trial.

- mr. vickers will certainly file for attorney's fees for the case that the ragepig just lost.

- mr. vickers will also likely file a civil lawsuit for defamation, citing the ragepig's claims in this case that the vickers are pedophiles, and that the vickers stole their coin shop from another man; claims for which the ragepig has just been found guilty of contempt. the court was clear in stating that it was not ruling that the ragepig's claims were defamatory, only that he violated the law by making those claims.

there is no end to the litigation in sight. the vickers can afford it (for now). the ragepig cannot.
