Off-Topic Transphobic Animals - Pets and other animals who sniff out frauds or react negatively to troons

They can sense evil.
:story:
Or more logically?
They're alert for something being deceptive.
They can sense this thing is not what it is trying to appear and they react accordingly.
Its the Uncanny Valley, but for animals.

Great thread OP.
This is one of my new favorite threads.

Not a history buff but I think people in the past used mules a lot because they were harder to scare and required less food for how strong they were.

That's retarded. Dogs have no reason to have an evolutionary aversion to someone hiding their face, sure they growl but they don't communicate with facial expressions like smiles the same way we do and they don't understand human concepts of complex disguises and trickery either. More likely they encountered something "weird" (eg someone wearing a hat) or they couldn't see some identifying feature. But they definitely don't have a concept of someone wearing clothes to intentionally disguise themselves.

Hiding something as in they were up to something they didn’t want other people to know about.

My Dalmatian always seemed to sniff out people who were shady like this, and some certainly got nervous around him, which of course got him more mistrustful and suspicious.

Dogs pick up on a lot of stuff.

Crossposting from troon sightings thread -
Not really a troon sighting but as I mentioned before I had bought my dogs one of those Ikea Troon Sharks before I found out it was some tranny icon.
Well yesterday two of my Rotties got in a fight over ownership of the Blahaj, which they settled, in true dog fashion, by ripping the things head off.
Now one of them has the remains of the troon sharks tail, and the other has the remains of the Blahaj head.
The stuffing is gone so its a skinned troon shark.
I will not be buying another one.

Dogs have evolved to suit human interaction for thousands of years. They recognize our facial expressions, learn many words and phrases, recognize tones of voice, recognize our body language, etc. Even chimps can't understand something as simple as pointing at an object, even if we tap on it, while dogs have little to no trouble with such concepts of human communication. It's completely normal and is now natural for dogs to be freaked out if they can't see a human's face in order to read the person's intent. It's a hell of a topic to get into with dog trainers who actually know their shit.

A dog's nose is a powerful thing, it's how they navigate the world. They even have an entire organ in their nose that is just for supersmelling, called the vomeronasal organ. It's used for picking up "undetectable smells" like pheromones and hormonal changes. Dogs can sniff out a tranny, and the self-induced chemical imbalance coming off of the troon would absolutely freak a dog out.
If you'd like to learn more about dog behavior and science, separate from their god-given transphobia, you can check out this book

Mom taught the parrot my deadname on purpose.

As the title says.

I was actually going to adopt her soon when my parents retire, and while her saying my deadname would never stop me, I may have to leave the country and I'm not sure she would survive, nor could I afford the processes she would have to go through to leave the country with me. She is probably about 34, and a fearher puller, so she isn't young or healthy enough to be vaccinated and chipped.

I'm mad at my mom because she went out of her way to teach the bird my deadname after I had been out for a few years. I love this bird so much and I'm one of the two people on the planet she doesn't bite without provocation, the other being my dad, her owner her whole life.

I don't live with my parents and miss my birdie bestie. I only know my mom taught her my deadname because she sends me videos of her saying it. She knows I wanted to take on the bird after they retire and move out within the next few years. She's just being cruel.

I was always accused of having a double life because of the horrible treatment I received at home for being trans and not sticking up for myself at home. At school I was out so she always told me I was pretending. I hate my mom so much.

She still says things that my grandmother, who passed in 2006, said to her. So yeah, she's probably gonna be saying it forever if people respond to it and I know my mom has been reinforcing it.

This is a bit more of a personal thing than one from reddit or elsewhere, but my dog has been known to bark and growl at trans women in the past. I am not sure if he can sniff out the weird mixtures of hormones and he finds it odd, or that the looks of them is what sets him off. It may be that he is a lot more wary of people who look odd, and trans women do tend to look that way.

Good question. My guess would be the nose over vision, as dogs see us from a low angle looking up and clocking face and proportions are harder than clicking smells, and of course dogs use their sense of smell for pretty much everything. They’re picking up smells that we can’t, so God knows what the poor darlings are suffering when a neovag neo-colon wafts into range

  1. troonsphobic cat smells HRT
  2. poorly-angled selfie shot of an old woman who smokes 4 packs a day and the cat either hates the smells of cigarettes or her God-awful perfume
  3. poorly-angled selfie shot of an old woman who smokes 4 packs a day did some shit to that cat
  4. other
What do you all think?

Horses can have a preference over the sex of their rider/handler as well. I had a lesson mare who didn't like men. So of course, for some reason or another, a tranny came to the stable one day to try some lessons. Though I find it odd, as farm animals or ranch hands hardly ever viladate their existence. I watched my mare pin her ears back at the guy when he tried approach her, and actually jumped back. Must've been the HRT confusing her as well. Serves him right for eating all those horse piss pills.
