Rate me late, but whatever, it's been a while!
Which is an idiotic excuse for remaining fat, or at least at the levels of morbid obesity these deathpigs are at. If life is so great, and fate so unpredictable, and a long life is not assured, then why would you spend it stuffing your face with garbage food (because these gorls are hardly gourmands)? Why would you speed up the process of aging and decay, and narrow your options, and miss out on so many of the things that make life great?

Corissa's strawman argument about aging is so stupid that I would I have thought that whole rant was a joke if I didn't already know how batshit the HAES cult is. By their logic I should just blow my head off because I'm just going to die someday. What a sick, sick mindset.

Dill actually is very heavy drinker. I usually have to water my greenhouse plants twice a day in warmer weather, so she is just learning...maybe. I am always curious about Corissia's face. It looks almost like a malar rash you get with lupus.
Nah, that isn't a malar rash. It's just a fat rash when you fat past fat hundred lbs. Like the AMA says, if a patient is too fat, the doctor is off the hook for any more work and can just declare the problem is fatness and their state board of medicine will award the doctor a victor's triumph, Roman style. You might think this is a hyperbolic shit post, but what would you say if I told you this was the God's honest truth told to me by an honest and true fat person?

She recently claimed it was rosacea, which is a new one—she's always talked about her acne, as if it's something that, you know, just happens to her, and she can't do anything about it. But I've seen rosacea, and it hasn't looked like what she consistently has, so I'm calling "fatty with chronic systemic inflammation who just got her first real sunburn of the year."

In the highly unlikely event she does have rosacea, she needs to stay the fuck out of the sun. Sunscreen really is not enough; she needs to wear a wide-brimmed hat, stay out of the sun in the midday hours, and do her sit-on-her-ass cottagecore gardener LARPing at times when the patch she's working on is in shade.

So Juliana has eaten to the point of being unable to walk and needing a personal attendant, and is making her frail, sickly, elderly mother push half a ton of fat around in a wheelchair, whilst her dying stepfather endures unending agony and indignity because he is rightfully afraid of what will happen to his wife when he finally lays down. What a capitalist hellscape Juliana is forced to live in! A socialist society based on mutual care would never all such crimes against humanity to go unpunished!

I'd ask that @JosephStalin ready the helicopters, but I don't think a normal helicopter is up to the job. It'll probably take an entire fleet of skycranes at this stage.

Poor Steve! It's just been shit piled on shit for him, hasn't it? And for Pattie as well.

Wow, J must really hate her parents.
I'm not sure it's that so much as the fact that Juliana is so monstrously, narcissistically self-absorbed, she just can't see how her behavior and choices negatively affect anybody else. It's all about her, and her feelings, and whatever she's fixated upon, all the time. And while other people's problems may occasionally intrude upon her self-absorption, she's still at the center of her own universe, and her problems will always be more real than anyone else's.

That she can describe Pattie—who has her own aches and pains—having to push her fat ass around in a wheelchair, while not exhibiting any shame about it, or giving any indication that she realizes she has put her mom in that position due to her own bad choices? I think this is the most appalling illustration of how deep her Narcissism is that I've seen so far.

Juliana's in too much pain to walk because she's massively obese, and getting fatter by the day, and she got that way because she needs to stuff her fat face constantly as a buffer against any negative emotions. She is an addict; food is her drug; she uses body positivity and other SocJus talk as justification for her addiction and its consequences; she lies to herself and others by pretending her physical problems are not directly caused by her fatness; she surrounds herself with other addicts and their supporters; and she villainizes anybody who questions her on any of this.

That she's now disabled and in pain, can't walk more than a few steps at a time, and has to be pushed in a wheelchair by her disabled mother, who is also in pain, is, to hear Juliana tell it, just something that has happened to her, that is totally not her fault, and there is nothing she can do about it. She can't see, or at least can't admit to, the fact that she has damaged her own body with her addiction, and put her poor mother in the position of having to wheel her fat ass around. She can't see, or at least can't admit to, the fact that she is causing her mother further pain and suffering at a time when she's already got a dying husband to worry about. No. It's all about Juliana, and how inconvenient it is that she's too disabled by her own pain to move freely.

There have already been so many points in Juliana's life that should have served as wakeup calls, where she should have realized what she was doing to herself—and to others close to her—with her disordered behavior around food, but she's always doubled down and kept choosing her addiction. This is no different. This should be a wake-up call, but it won't be. Instead, it shows just how deeply entrenched she is in her food addiction, and how committed she is to continuing to pursue it. There is no amount of pain (inflicted upon herself or others) that's going to break through, flood her with appropriate shame and regret, and make her see the need to change.

She's going to die hard, she's going to die ugly, and the only ones I feel sorry for here are Pattie and Steve—but especially Pattie, because she's the one who is going to live long enough to see the worst of it.

(That said, there are heavy lift helicopters that should be able to accommodate her, if the Pinochet Protocol ever become a realistic treatment option for everything that ails her. A Chinook would probably be up to the task. )

A Chinook would do the job. We'd need to get the crew chief some help loading, though.
