Rewatched that episode a few weeks back and it gets funnier every passing viewing, especially when Dale, Nancy, Bill and John knew about this. The punchlne was absolute gold.

I don't think my personal theory will happen, but I always imagined that in a reboot Bobby would find 3 other guys similar to Hank and his friend except their zoomer equivalents. Like for example the zoomer Dale would still be paranoid but would be a skinny guy wearing a hooded sweater who vapes a lot and visits /g/ and darkweb forums. Bill would still be Bill but in 2023 and Boomhauer would be whatever the equivalent of zoomer Chad is.

You know something, I could see him be a combination of both when he gets older. On the outside, he'll be looking like a sigma alpha chad, but on the inside, he'll be way too much into conspiracies by listening to Paul Joseph Watson or Alex Jones and he'll have to carry Dale's legacy to be a dead bug sprayer.
