That was a beautiful ending. 10/10 story, highly recommend. Great moral dilemma and plenty of plot twists. So refreshing to see an analysis of the site through a detached lens, well done OP.
My favorite moments:
people contemplating suicide due to terminal illness and loss of spouses/children, and this mofo bitching and moaning about how life is so bad because he can’t be a sexy teenage Korean girl.
- FC states her worldview as The Absolute Truth Which Applies To Everybody
- Somebody objects, usually politely
- FC tells the person who objects that they are a pro-lifer and they shouldn't be allowed on the site
- Other person objects more
- The FuneralCry White Knights arrive and slay everyone with their mighty swords
- R+S shows up and warns the objectors
She's autistic don't you know?
Hey StupidFaggot42 here from the Sanctioned Suicide forum just coming over for some attention because I want to kill myself.
You know what? Fuck you. It's clear my words won't be heard from the likes of you. You've already made up your mind. The only reason you're on my ass is because I defended Andrew Tate. I'm done with you.
You are a vile fucker,, you will be in court & you will prosecuted,,you and Diego,!! Do you know how many people have died ? You will pay for what you have done & what you are still doing !! Exposing people ? Is that what you find funny ?

Useless Opinion Piece:
I found the conclusion to be
overly sympathetic and somewhat irrelevant to what the wider story was about by how much it was being compared to KF.
Attacking SS is just another way to attack KF.
I believe this is one of those cases where correlation will not lead to causation, like some domino effect. Both groups have different mobs and different ideological oppositions, they're interests are just not as aligned.
As for SS, I think it's a miserable echo-chamber, it doesn't explicitly encourage suicide although you could argue it does so obscurely from means of suggestions (
[1],
[2]) and the popular pro-moralist/nihilist appeals (
[1],
[2]) that form the overall culture. This consequently may further influence new users to affirm and embrace their ideations to more extreme levels—I fear the younger (<25) and impulsive types will be more privy to this, because of the predominant amount of pro-suicide sentiments. There is definitely some encouragement that goes on, albeit subtly. But aside from those concerns, I think the site is a good way to cope with their problems and vent, it's a consistent testament to many of the active and older members. The ones who actually kill themselves tend to have fewer messages (under 100), those types are usually already committed to ending their life before becoming a member. None of the assertions from fixthe26 or Tantacrul hold any water, no one is actually being pushed or lured to committing suicide, however, the partner section is suspicious. Though I believe shutting down the entire site would be useless to shut it down, there's no clear benefit in doing so, it does nothing for the symptoms of suicidality, and no amount of legislation to restrict speech will fix that.
Tanatcrul's video was irresponsible and counterproductive, it ultimately did more harm than good by leading more people to the site who wouldn't have otherwise found it; it had blatantly false information and severely misrepresented the site by fearmongering and speculating. No SS member's mind was changed neither did anyone avoid seeking it out like what the video intended. Genuine dumbass.
But who cares about all that, let people kill themselves if they want to. They should just
DO IT.
